Rain fell heavily again and the thunder was loud this afternoon. I found myself at Lunchbox once again having my lunch all by myself. Instead of having rice or noodles, i decided to got for a French Toast instead. I was in for a long wait. I guess they’re slow in food preparation for tea time. I don’t blame them much. Twenty minutes of waiting, twenty minutes of staring out the glass walls and having my mind wander off~ Eventually my meal arrived…
Tada~ French Toast. =)
Yea… well it didn’t come half eaten already. XD I ate it halfway and then i thought, hmm… this might make a blog post. So i stopped, arranged and took a photo. Well, let me explain the French Toast. Basically from what i know, French Toast is made with eggs and bread and some honey poured over if you may. But thus far, i’m pretty sure i’ve not tried any French Toasts other than the ones my mom made or the ones i made. Which is basically bread dipped in egg and fried. As simple as that. This on the other hand, has extra ingredients. After careful study of my food, i found that it consists of bread, beaten eggs, butter, sugar and honey. How they made this French Toast? I’d say they buttered one side of each bread, then lightly dipped the other side in beaten egg, fried the egg dipped side on pan till the crusts are a little crisp, added sugar on the butter side, stacked the two bread slices, put a teaspoon’s worth of butter on the top and poured honey over it. And tada~ Lunchbox French Toast! ^^
Haha~ Funny how i decided all so suddenly to blog on foodstuff. =P Exam tomorrow! Somewhat prepared but you’ll never know. Optimism helps a lot in keeping one cool and comprised as one faces the daunting task of defeating the questions in exams. =) That’s all for now! =D
