Such a wonderful day =)

Such a wonderful day today for a stroll… under a shade of course. =)

Out comes the rain from the dark puffs of clouds in the sky, the loud and scary rumbling of thunder heralds the rain. It was then i decided to have my lunch. So to Lunchbox i went. =)

Passing through Starbucks, i was immersed in the ambience of the place and the music it played. What a wonderful day it is. =) Even at Lunchbox, as i waited for my food to arrive, alone i stared out the glass walls, insulated from the humid environment outside, the cool gentle touch of the air-conditioned air on my skin, the soft sound of music in my ears, i watch nature in awe and wondered my thoughts away as i immersed myself in dreams. Such a wonderful day it is. =)

You know what would be nice right now? After i had my lunch of rice and omelette? A wonderful cup of tea. Hmm… but i didn’t want to order again. So i ventured out to the vending machine to see what it had. The whole vending machine was packed with all sort of drinks. With my one ringgit note in hand, i fed it to the machine and pressed B5, out came out, iced lemon tea.

I took a step outside and opened my can of lemon tea and took a sip. Ah~ The refreshing taste of lemon tea… not chilled enough though. I took another sip and then continued on back to Starbucks. There again i was immersed in the ambience of the place. Stopped at the counter and had a look at the beverages on the menu. Mmm~ Hot chocolate sounds nice at a time like this. I would have had one, but i thought it’d be better to save it for a day when i had the company of my friends, all of us with hot chocolate in hand, and the weather just like today, it would be so wonderful. =)

They were selling popcorn at the cafeteria today. Found it strange so. Maybe it’s because it’s Halloween today. I felt like having some, cause it’ll just be cool to have some, but it’d be too much for me to finish it.

The weather was just so mesmerising. It made me stop by the tall seat at the cafeteria. I sat there with my drink and stared into space as i enjoyed the weather. I guess it’s just that i haven’t had a nice good stroll on a nice good day like this with a nice good drink in hand. XD Am i introverted for strolling alone? Haha~ Maybe, but it wouldn’t be the same walking in a group if they’re not into strolling and just enjoying the weather. Unless of course the group has a common interest of doing just that! XD

Ah~ Such a long post. I think i should stop here. =) Gotta study now so gotta go! =)

Hexaflexagon

Going through my friend’s Facebook wall today, i came across this curious word: ‘hexaflexagon’. So i went googling it and what came up was simply amazing! IT’S A MULTI-SIDED PAPER ORIGAMI THINGY! Well, that is if you could even call it origami. =) So i decided to make it! RAWR! And yea, i was supposed to study but in the end i got distracted by this fascinating thing called a ‘hexaflexagon’. I found a website showing me how to make one, and so i began to make it…

When i finally completed it, i found out that IT WAS A TRI-HEXAFLEXAGON! Nooo~ It’s not the cool 6-sided hexaflexagon called a hexa-hexaflexagon! Of detours and being lost!

Well, it’s such an interesting day today getting all lost taking a detour as i drove home today. ^^ It all started at uni, with the thunder’s grumble and the gentle sound of raindrops splattering on my car’s windscreen.

As i was about to head off fro uni, my awesome friend came back from the future and forecasted immense congestion on the LDP… okay, this sounds too science fiction. =) I was told that the LDP was at a crawl by a friend of mine who left ahead of me i the same direction. True indeed the cars were all at a standstill as i exited onto the LDP. So i took the left lane heading past all those cars going up the bridge and decided that today i shall try using the Federal highway instead! And like some wicked witch i laughed as i passed those cars stuck in the jam. Hehehe~ Nah, i’m not that evil. =)

Turning off onto the Federal, i only knew one way to get to SS2, by making a turn off onto Jalan University somewhere along the Federal highway. So i drove slow and attentively looked for what would seem to be the right turning off. (it’s a left turning so don’t be fooled by the pun! XD) I saw a signboard saying ‘Jalan 222’. It sounded like a road i need to go to. Besides it has a number 2 in it so it can’t be that far from SS2… right? So i turned off right there and found myself in unfamiliar ground!

I immediately stopped at a BHP petrol station and decided to call Berry for help. Teet teet, teet teet (is that how the phone sounds?… oh wait, it was some kinda caller ringtone!) no response… so i decided to head further in to see what might lie ahead. Then i came about what seems to be a small roundabout but it was just kinda like a pile of broken bricks in the middle of the road. I made a right and went up and up the hill. I passed by a cemetery that spooked me out so i decided to turn into the housing area and stop to call for help! Tried calling Berry again… no luck. Then i thought, well which of my trusty friend would pick up their phone and would be able to help me out of this and make me ‘found’. Hmm…… i called Nicole.

At first she didn’t know what to do so she told me to wait for a call from Jin. I decided to backtrack and stopped by a Shell station. There Nicole called back, this time, armed with the wonders of Google maps. =)

Then i started off, with Nicole on the phone with her trusty map and my good old manual SLK (small little kancil) with a phone in one hand and the other changing gears and steering the car. Yeah, it was tough. And why didn’t i think of handsfree or speakers? =P With her help, i found my way out of the woods and into the familiar territory of Jalan Semangat! ^^ From there, my internal GPS kicked in and i’m definitely going to reach home in time for dinner. =) No more detours from here on! XD

Well, that’s about my story of getting lost taking a detour to escape from the jam on the LDP. Haha~ A very interesting one indeed. Looking back in Google maps, if i had only continued on past the cemetery, i would have ended up at my secondary school. =P lols~ If only i had Google maps in my phone then~ =) Adding to the ever so awesome time being lost on the way home i saw lotsa carnage on the road! Branches and leaves strewn everywhere and a tree fallen across the road! O.O (gasp!) Haha~ =) And now, it’s raining and i’m so tired. I think being lost drained all my energy. Haha! Fell asleep right after dinner, the sound of raindrops carrying me away into slumber~
