Well, there certainly has been a chain of misfortunes these past few days. Let me just blog about one particular one.
It was late on a Thursday. 6pm to be exact. I left uni, it was starting to jam up. Had a slow ride home, thinking about my warman project. So many difficulties… Was just driving, thinking, until a motorcyclist honked at me. O.O Hmm… i was wondering why. I looked to my side and i saw him pointing at my rear tyre. Immediately i suspected a flat. O.O But then i didn’t hear anything and i could see the tyre. So i didn’t know how bad it was. I decided that i should try to drive all the way home then check. But as i was driving, slowly, i was worried as well, so i prayed for safe journey. At first, i thought it wasn’t too bad a problem. Just that i noticed my car was now underpowered when i go up hill or try to accelerate. No sounds yet. Then i was approaching a petrol station, i was thinking whether i should stop and check. My house is like two kilometres away. But then, at that time, i started to hear sounds from my rear tyre. Oh God, i think it’s bad. So i took a detour and stopped at the petrol station. Came out of my car and i was quite shocked to see my tyre completely flat. A radial fracture around the tyre. Rims touching the ground. Wow, so much damage. I didn’t know. So i opened the boot and started changing the tyre. Called home to tell about the situation. First time changing the tyre. Was kind of determined to do it right and get it accomplished. Learnt some essential new things about changing a tyre. The tyre was hot, the tyre is heavy, the tyre is dirty. XD Haha~ Yeah. And the rim cap was hard to take out if you don’t know how. I had help from a worker at the petrol station for that. Thank you sir! =) Well, once it was all done, i went to pump my tyres. Took about 15 to 20 minutes changing the tyre. Haha~ I think that’s kind of slow. But at least i got to learn something new. =) And i’m happy learning new things like this. =)
And now, the following day, in the morning. Guess what? I heard some sound coming from my OTHER rear tyre as i was heading off to uni. I stopped my car to check and i was surprised to see a screw in the other tyre. –.- Great… Went back home. My mom fetched me to uni that day. At least i don’t need to pay for parking. =) Haha~
Well, i’d just like to thank God for protecting me. Thank God for no accidents, for the people who helped me, that kind motorcyclist. Thank you very much! =) Looks like leaving late that day was a good thing. Traffic jam, driving slow. Better than driving fast and who knows what may have happened. Thank God for his protection. =)
