New Year’s Eve 2010

Well, it has been a great and interesting year at college. Everything new to me at the start of the year. Made new friends, had plenty of great time with them. My Physics buddies, we go almost everywhere together. Eating together… well, it proves to be quite hard to do so and often end up having late lunch because non of us can make up our mind. :P So we just linger around, the four of us, in the circle of boredom. :P Whenever we go to Pyramid, we’d somehow gravitate towards the same place… fast food. :P Haha~
This year i evaded any such responsibilities that comes to me. If one so ever comes, i just deflected it to someone else. :D Haha~ Poor friend of mine but seriously you’re a hardworking, responsible and admirable person. After years of responsibilities at school i just wanted to feel how it’s like being normal… just not needing to worry about stuff. Well, i did feel more free than i’ve ever been… but that just made me more lazy. Haha~
A-Levels Express Jan ‘10. A one year A-Levels course most probably meant for students who want to have larger options in choosing a university or for students who would enter Australian universities. I made my decision to choose this course to test myself. Yes, to see how ‘smart’ i really am. Turns out, i’m just normal. Nothing special. Maybe it’s just that i understand things better. So, now i know myself better, hope i’ll do better in the years to come.
Currently i’ve only applied to the local Monash. Looks like i’m set at heading there although i do want to experience a life living in a hostel, being independent. Local Nottingham would be good for that. My friend is trying to persuade me to join him there. :P Interested… but my parents doesn’t allow me. Well, just hope that Monash will accept you despite you lacking Specialist Maths. :)
This month has been awesome. All the activities and practices. Went ice skating for the first time, went badminton with friends, bowling, Christmas drama practice, carolling, camp. So many activities, very tiring but it’s all worth it. I really enjoy December, don’t you? :) Now i have a whole month of holiday not knowing what to do. Work? A month, ain’t it a little short? Well, i hope i’ll find something to do. :)
So now, it’s the end of the year. 2011 is coming. A new year… new beginnings… new opportunities. Go for it! Well then, to everyone, have a great year ahead despite all troubles that may come, remember to smile and laugh as often as you can. All the best! Finally, take care… currently there seems to be a bug going round. :P Alritez, Joel signing out for the last time, fare thee well blog. Tata~

Wonders of the night

It’s really chilly tonight don’t you think? Almost as though the outside is air-conditioned! I love the night. Being outside… the coolness… the breeze… reminds me of… Christmas. Perhaps the best time of the year for me. Imagine… the cold atmosphere, slight breeze, the night sky riddled with ever so plentiful stars, and the moon shining brightly, being in the car, being driven not the one driving, staring out the window, the soft music from the radio, plays your favourite song. Seriously, what do you think? Do you feel how it? The peace and calming sensation. Just love it so much~

You see things happening… the night awakens with activity… for those who work at night! The heroes of the night. Workers paving the road, maintenance going on, guards doing their duty. It’s a totally different world at night. Almost like ‘Night at the Museum’. :)

Well, i wonder… how does the night portray itself to you? :)

Meteor!

Aww… i haven’t been blogging lately! What happened to the hardcore blogging spree till the termination of me blog???

Well, something interesting i saw tonight. It was just a brief moment. A streak of light. Up in the night sky. Guess what it is. A meteor! Cool~ I think it’s the second time i saw a meteor! :) :D Ah~ So happened i recently watched ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs’. Hmm…. could it be something else??? :D

Hmm… darn. I have nothing to say! What happened to all the inspiration??? Sigh~ Well, happy holidays to you school people. :)

Of cold and wetness!

Ouch! Legs aching, blisters all over, sprained wrist. The tiredness and sleepiness. Planned months ago but never came to past till now. Still, it’s only the four of us guys. Ah well~ Ice skating of course!

Finally after suggestions and failed plans to go ice skating we finally did go ice skating… although not as a whole class unfortunately. Just the four of us guys, the Physics boys. We have spent much much time together. Makan, bowling, archery, movie and not skating.

Today, right after our Moral Studies presentation we went to Pyramid for ice skating. Something new to me but i’ve always wanted to try it out… and now i did! Whee~ Ate very small lunch. Was hungry actually after skating but it’s so close to dinner i’d rather wait. Arriving there we were greeted by some promoter for skating membership. RM40 for membership, 2 complimentary tickets! There were 4 of us so it was just nice a number. Got to save RM12 altogether by applying for membership. So that’s what we did. Two of us applied and we got 4 tickets! Yo, now we’re ready for skating!

Surprise! I met someone familiar. Jennifer was there too with her friends! When she heard it was my first time skating, she offered to teach me! Why, how could i not accept such an offer. Seems that she’s got lots of experience already. Seriously Jennifer was a really very good teacher. I think within half an hour i could at least skate on my own! Yeah, i was somewhat determined to be able to skate. Determination helped me through… but not without a collection of falls and ‘dances’. :D I fell many times… and i mean many. Kind of like a dare devil trying to go fast though i only just started learning. First fall my butt fell on the heel of the skates! Gosh! 2 falls hurt my right wrist. A hard fall on my right butt made a bruise. A fall on rough ice scraped my arm… but thankfully no bleeding… but there was blood. Another fall bruised those scrape wounds. First round of skating brought me a blister on my ankle. Tightening the skates till almost literally squeezes the blood out of my feet made a blister on my heel! Gosh! That’s a lot of injuries! Seriously! And last but not least the tiredness~

I didn’t expect the tiredness. :P Didn’t take it into account when i was planning to study for Moral Studies at night. Right now, i’m tired and aching all over and sleepy… i should really go to bed. Finished studying…. well, the important parts… just want to finish this blog entry then i’ll fly off to dreamland~ :D

Hmmm… actually, i’m kind of finished with this post. Right, time to sleep! I shall end this post with a thank you very much note to Jennifer for being such a great teacher! Tq. :) Tata~ (fainted) :P
