Can’t believe exam starts TOMORROW!

I can’t believe exam starts after this hols!!! Ahhhhhhh! And this hols end TOMORROW!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Oh no! What to do? What to do? I feel so panicked… i feel scared~ It’s so really scary you know, knowing that exam is like tomorrow and you’re not studying… well, i believe you guys are studying but I’M NOT! I’m so totally not prepared for this!

Well, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Yeah~… sounds like a good plan to run now so RUN! Where to??? Err… i guess i could take a cab to KLIA now and get a plane ticket to erm… err… Singapore? Australia? Russia? Well, anywhere but here! Wait… i know! I’ll travel at the speed of light and slow time down! Then i’ll have more time to study. News flash: –Technology to travel at the speed of light doesn’t exist yet-. Err… okay… well, guess that won’t work. (a moment of silence) NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Yes, i’m going crazy! Bet you i won’t have a good nights sleep tonight… i’d be like a zombie at school. Exams starts on Tuesday??

Err… haha~ Just something random i wanted to blog about. You know… i didn’t know exam is going to start on Tuesday. :P I thought it is going to start on Monday. :P Haha~ Just something i found out in tuition today. It was like, ‘Monday got BM paper lah’. Then my friend said, ‘No lah, Monday public holiday’. Then i said, ‘Really?’ Then my friend said, ‘Ya lah, Merdeka mah. You want to go to school to take exam meh?’ Err… haha, i was like so blur. Guess i didn’t read the timetable properly. :P Well, one extra day to relax before exams… haha~

Well, it has been raining quite a lot lately…

Holidays! Haha~

Hey! It’s the holidays! Time for some rest and relaxation. Ahh~ the beach~ The cool sea breeze that sweeps the shore. The sound of the waves crashing in the beach. Paradise~ Haha~ I really, really, wish that would be true~ Going out for some vacation or holiday now isn’t such a bad idea… or is it?

Hmm… it seems like i haven’t been blogging for quite some time now. Hmm… what to blog about??? Well, i have a story about a mosquito. I was studying History one morning in my ‘study’ room. Yeah, it was such a nice day, cooling and relaxing~ Ahh~ I was enjoying my time reading my history book when some mosquito for some no good reason came by and start biting me. I was like, ‘Grrrr! Stupid mosquito! If i see you, i’ll KILL YOU!!!’ So i kept a watchful eye on my surrounding on a lookout for the mosquito. Some time passed and i said, ‘Cis! What lah you mosquito, i bet you are now just relaxing, enjoying and digesting your huge feast of my blood!’ Then a moment later, ‘Aha! Found ya!’ I took my History book and WHAM, WHAM, WHAM! Three hits! Not sure whether i hit it but i noticed something else. ‘OH NO!’ I saw that the book wrapper has torn! Yikes! Too much strength i think. :P But i was like so geram the mosquito bit be and got away with it. Grrr…

So yeah, that’s some funny thing that happened today. :P Hmm… i was also thinking… i made up some philosophy about myself. :P

I am NOT smart, I just THINK i am smart so i ACT smart. People saying that i am smart has made my conscience to believe so. My mind cannot live up to the standards set my conscience.

Bottom line is, i’m really just an average person who is supposed to score average marks. Maybe get 15th or the 20th position in class but somehow or another i became different when i thought myself as somebody that is smarter than an average person. Me believing in who i am not has changed me into that person which i am not. A so called SMART person.

Err… that’s just random. Haha~ Should that be an encouragement or an insult to others? Err… i don’t know. Guess it’s just better to ignore me. My mind is going haywire like some rat got tangled in my delicate wiring of my brain. Err… that’s weird. Why am i saying all this. Am i going crazy?

Okay well, all the best in your studies… Hey wait! Stop studying so much. Have a break people! Err… another random thing. I’m going NUTS!

Such a fun day at school!

It’s a Saturday! A fun one despite it being a school day. :) Haha~ For those of you who came you know la~ :) Right there was school today. My bus didn’t come to pick me up so in the end my father sent me to school… that was like at 6.50 a.m. or so. So very early! Well, i arrived at school at 7.00 a.m. So empty and dark. I was greeted by a frog (or toad) on the way in. Haha~ Greg… if you know what i mean. :P So yeah, very early at school. So i sat at the bench and read my book. FYI i did not read a revision book. Wonder why everyone… or most people think i study a whole lot. The fact is i don’t. I keep telling them but they don’t believe me. Anywayz, so yeah, i was reading a novel… erm… science fiction. There was Wei Sheong there sleeping. So i read and read, took the buku ponteng, then waited for the grill to open. Kinda late. So, i expected about 10 or more people but it turned up to be 4! F.O.U.R only! Pei Ning, Shu Ning, Ming Soon and me! Well, what do you expect from a Saturday school day when exams are just behind the corner. :) So, the class was so empty. In the end we combined classes with 5A, which had 10 people i think. 5C got 8, 5D got 8, 5I got 2. These three classes combined. So, it almost seemed to be like a typical Saturday school day… until~ Haha~ well, first, i took out a Add. Maths. workbook to do some work… (as if i did)… i did one question and said, ‘Okay, i am done studying’. LoL. :P Then i went to the 5A group at the other side of the class. They had Rubik’s! So i watched them play and played a little. Then i got bored and went back to my place. Took out my Add. Maths workbook and did some work… (as if i did)… i did one question and said, ‘Okay, studied finished. Time to play’. LoL. So i went back to the 5A group and saw Parvin playing Tower Blocks! Oh, i have that in my handphone too! Seems that you could reach the moon! Even see a satelite and a wishing star! Never reached that high before… err… don’t think you understand what i’m saying. Okay, moving on, Shu Ning came asking some Bio question. Right~ flexor muscle. ‘Upper’ flexor muscle contract and pulls the leg toward the body. ‘UPPER’ mean ‘UP’! What else could it mean?? So i took my marker pen and illustrated.

Right~ okay, so after that we played hangman, since the marker was already out. Yeah… after that came the fun part. Err… not sure but i think i started it. :P Okay, i found some paper on the floor so i decided to do something with it. ‘Hmm… long time haven’t played with paper planes…’. It was a great idea! Haha~ yeah, so surely you could guess what happened next. I made a paper plane! Then others followed. Then we started throwing it around the class. Then it went from inside the class to outside the class. People start throwing paper planes down from the first floor. :P Pei Ning’s plane flew onto the roof of the covered walkway like 3 times?! Haha~ First time she climbed out onto the roof to get it! It was like what is she doing!!! Actually, i don’t mind her doing that but if a teacher saw that… err… you’d know what will happen. :P Second time, Wei Sheong helped (i was too short :P couldn’t reach). Then it happened a third time~ Haiz, this time i was smart enough to climb~ err… you woudn’t know what i mean unless you were there. Haha~ yeah, then in back in class we were throwing paper planes at each other. Haha~ Actually, only the BR people were doing that. :P After that, we played some ooooooold game. You know the flower-like-paper origami where you write stuff inside and say, ‘which colour do you want?’. Yeah, that one. Nothing to do mah. Well, we ‘studied’ through that! Wrote some questions on Bio, Chemistry and Physics. :P Haha~ well, basically that was the whole day at school. Lots of stuff we did, lots of fun we had, no revision done at all! Haha~ Then it was bye bye to all. What an exciting Saturday it was. The best Saturday school day i could say. :) Oh yeah, one more thing… i’m proud to say (or am i) that we beat out 'ponteng record! 39 absentees and only 4 present. LoL Xp.

Alright, it’s finally August after a long, long wait. You know what that means. Hehe~ I am finally retired! Yippie! Scouts AGM on the 1st of August… i skipped it to go for BK Quiz. Haha~ At least don’t need to get ‘tembak’ed. Hopefully my assistant who represented me didn’t ‘kena’ anything. :P Right i finally passed down my Secretary title in Scouts to: Bryan Ooi. Don’t know much about him but anyone replacing me is surely good enough for me. :P Still got to pass down all the secretary stuff to him. Haha~ sorry but i’m gonna leave some unfinished stuff with you… err… let me see, attendance. Haha~ Shouldn’t be a problem. Don’t come and find me ah. LoL.

As for CF, i was Secretary from 08.08.08 to 07.08.09 (cool numbers). Now i have stepped down. Also got some unfinished stuff but i’m gonna finish it before i pass it down to the new Secretary.

Persatuan Ketua Tingkatan… err… i don’t do much work there. I’m Secretary 2 (kind of demoted :P). Reason why i got demoted (my opinion): I don’t do much for PKT. Reason why i don’t do much for PKT: Nobody gave me any work in the first place! Not that i’m complaining. :P

Right… retirement… hmmmm… i feel so… old? Haha~ The word ‘retire’ makes me feel old. So, time to go see the world? Have a vacation? Haha~

Exams are merely means of gauging our knowledge
We should not only study, but learn through studying
We are to know, not just to simply memorise

By knowing, exams will be a breeze~

 What’s the use of studying if we don’t mean to study?

SPM BK ‘09 Oral Quiz

Hello! Well, actually i wanted to blog about the SPM BK ‘09 Oral Quiz since a long time ago but kinda not time lately. Haha, well, can’t write too long though so i’ll try to talk with pictures. (though there are only 4 :P)
Alright, last Saturday, on the 1st of August 2009, SPM BK ‘09 Oral Quiz was held at SMK (P) Assunta. It’s the first time i’ve been there and the first time it was held there since i came to secondary school. Right, straight to the events. Woke up real early… well actually i woke up late. Set the alarm clock at 4.50 a.m. but woke up at 5.20 a.m.! Rushed to wash up and eat breakfast. Met at Taman Bahagia LRT station. Hmm… the first batch of people left but i decided to leave with the second batch. More time to study. :P Had a 1km walk to Assunta. Passed a lot of large gigantic enormous houses on the way. (which i will tell something about it later) Got a little lost. :P Haha~ Eventually, we made it to Assunta. After all the registration and speeches, we, the SPM BK participants went to the hall to take the first part of the quiz, the MCQ questions. Hmm… at least i knew how to do most of it. After the quiz, it was the first elimination. Different than last year where there was no elimination for the first round. Cut down to 60 teams from Selangor and KL. My team, TS8 managed to proceed with a total of 67 marks! (maximum marks are 80, 40 for each person) Along with 7 other teams… i think. Altogether, my school sent 11 teams and 1 team from my school represented their church. Oh, by the way, if you don’t know, we go in pairs, two per team.
Then i was the second round. The Quiz Masters will ask the question and we are to write it on a piece of paper and show it to the Recorders… Err… you’d probably not know what are Recorders and Runners… well, basically, Recorders record marks while Runners run! LoL :P Okay, back to the competition. Unlike last year where there were 5 Q’s on Luke and 5 Q’s on Acts, it was all Luke!!! I was no help at all! Really~ Didn’t actuallt study Luke… Anyway, my partner, Tian Xiong was superb! Well, good thing i have a good partner. :) Later it was the 2nd elimination. Total marks from part 1 and part 2. It was a tense moment… Then, it was a moment of joy! I was so shocked and happy. It was like i got my SPM results. :P Haha~ Well, we managed to enter the 3rd round. Our placing: 23rd out of 25 teams from Selangor and KL! Really, really shocked and truly amazed. :)
Okay, the 3rd part of the competition, semifinals. Scores reset to zero. 4 teams from my school managed to enter part 3. Among them was a Form 4 team with exceptional marks. Really, really good. I was very extremely nervous. Haven’t been this far before. This time, there is no conferring with your partner. Tian Xiong chose Luke and i chose Acts. Really nervous i was. Tian Xiong did really great by getting 13 out of 15! It was like WOW! Then it was my turn. I was really, really sad at the end of the third round. I did so badly. Only managed to get 3 out of 15… so discouraged. I have failed my partner! Anyway, you know what happened next. We failed to enter the finals. It was like minimum 20 marks from part 3 to tie with the other 5 teams. We only got 16. Haiz, i really failed. Could have done better… Anyway, good job Tian Xiong. :)
1 team from our school almost managed to enter the finals. The Form 4 team!!! TS10! They got a tie but lost in the tie-breaker. Three out of five teams proceeded to the finals from the tie-breaker. Despite the failure to enter the finals, we managed to obtain the David Boler challenge trophy. It’s now 3 years in a row! Haha~ Well, be back for it next year. There is chance to get the MCSC challenge trophy, the Form 4 team was truly remarkable. Defeated the Form 5 teams. :P

Right, now, after i lost the 3rd round, some of us went out to A&W for lunch. So, i didn’t watch the finals this year. I heard that the top 3 places was taken by Sri Sempurna. They are really, really good. Anyway, on the way there, yeah, about the large houses. It was white and large. Lot’s of them. Here’s some pics:

Right, A&W… i ate waffle! It was so filling. Truly, waffles are not meant to be eaten alone. Must share with others. Still, it was cheaper than the Coney Dog. I’m kinda trying to save money. Then, Alan, Parvin and me went to Amcorp Mall. Wow, it’s like a bazaar there. Well, i’ve never been there before… maybe once but that’s it. There, we jalan-jalan and followed Alan shopping. Haha~ We admired his shopping skills such as bargaining. Well, he helped me reduce the price of my ‘rice dumpling’. Haha~ if you know what’s that. :P
Then, we proceeded home. Met the other group of CF’ers who stayed behind till it ended at the Taman Jaya LRT station. Went back home from there with Tian Xiong. Alan, Parvin and me stopped at Taman Bahagia. The CF’ers were behind us. Alan and Parvin left and i waited for the LRT with the CF’ers. It was then i heard the announcement that the LRT won’t stop at Masjid Jamek station cause there was a ‘perhimpunan haram’. Didn’t know what it was till the next day. :P Later, i met back up with Tian Xiong and went back home. Phew, it was a tiring day indeed. :)
Okay, that’s all for now. It’s late already and i actually have a History test tomorrow. ‘Supposed’ to study but i got bored and stopped with 7 pages left to finish. Hopefully it won’t come out tomorrow. :P Haha~
