Earth Hour!

Yo, how was Earth Hour? An amazing, spectacular hour? Did you enjoy yourself? Truly, if you think about it, Earth Hour is truly amazing. Though lasting only an hour, many thing can change. A small change goes a long way you know. Think about it. At least we have done something, a tiny little thing for Earth, rather than nothing. Furthermore, i think the whole world knows about what's going on on Earth... well, at least maybe more than half the world.
Earth Hour... some to think of it, there's a lot of positive stuff that can come from it. For instance, at least people now know that earth is warming (for those super blur people out there) and we've gotta do something about it. You see, this Earth Hour was like everywhere in Malaysia, i mean on almost all the media. TV, radio, newspaper and on the internet. Who says one hour is not worth it? It is, you just have to think ahead.
Think like, through that one hour of darkness, we get to spend it with our family. Some quality time perhaps. Then you'll get to get closer with your family.
You know, i saw some groups out tonight. At the park, some people were barbecuing. Some were playing basketball. I saw like a group of friends parading on the streets. Also saw some people gathering a mini bonfire of candles. So cool right. You see, it's like this Earth Hour is everywhere. And it brings people together. And the thought of that makes it worth while.
So, my point is, Earth Hour, totally worth it. Just a little can go a long way. An hour makes difference. Difference counts.
Hope you had a fun time during Earth Hour. Though the lights may be on now, try to use electricity wisely. Think about Earth. Vote for Earth, save Earth for the future.

Overwhelming worries

Worries, oh, it is so overwhelming. It is becoming intolerable. My mind tries to shut it out but the remnants of it keeps coming back, haunting me. I feel so powerless, i cannot fulfill my duty. I try to run away from it all, yet it returns twofold. Such a burden and a seemingly endless journey. I'm so discouraged. The weight is not getting less but more. Even my school bag is pulling me down. Negative thoughts fill my mind. But no, i shall not want. Such gloomy days ahead. I can't see a clear path. I'm lost. Stranded. I'm trying to find my way back. And i'm still trying. I want to release this burden. I wait for the time. Will it come?
(I'm just simply writing stuff to release stress...)

The rain

Oh, how nice the rain,
An occurrence of nature,
So delightful and elegant,
Such a wonderful creation it is.

Have you ever watched it closely?
Examine the tiny droplets falling from heaven,
Admire the creation of it with wonder and adoration,
Observe its ever so changing motion.

Have you heard the voices of the rain?
The comforting and peaceful assurance.

Have you experienced the calm sensation of the rain?
The hypnotizing sound of orchestrated splatter.

Oh, how nice the rain,
It never fails to amaze me,
One of the very things i enjoy watching,
One of which calms my feelings of anxieties.

Dilemma...

I just can't decide what to do... this or that. Next weekend, i have some activities going on... but i'm not sure which to choose. I have 3 options:
1. After sports practice on Friday, get back home ASAP and try to get some rest before going to scout camp until Sunday afternoon. Then gotta go for CF camp early Monday morning. I'll be extremely tired and sleep deficit. Most probably be like sleepy the whole CF camp.
2. After sports practice on Friday, get back home ASAP and try to get some rest before going to scout camp. Leave early on Saturday night so that i have one day to rest. Perhaps go to church on Sunday but i'd be sleepy. Then get to go CF camp without being so tired.
3 Don't go scout camp. Saturday, follow my church youths to FRIM. Sunday, go to church. Monday, go for CF camp.
I'd personally prefer option 3. But then, i have my own responsibilities that i shouldn't forsake. If possible, i'd like to do a little of both, scout camp and the trip to FRIM. CF camp is a must! However, i still am reluctant to go for scout camp, but i just don't want to simply abandon my friends. No idea what to do. Prayed to God for guidance. When i came across my horoscope it says that i'll be in a tough situation choosing something from another and the advice was to wait and see how it goes. Well, just gotta pray more, miracles happen through prayer.

One little thing less

Well, it seems that ketua tingkatan orientation was called off.... so no orientation. Still, i'm reluctant to go for troop meeting... i just hate this worries ad burdens... want it to go away ASAP. Well, good night for now.

The crushing burden...

It seems that i have lots going on this month... well at least for this 2 weeks. Well, i just feel better just saying out what i have to do:
1. worship practice tonight for Friday's CF
2. finding teachers for permission to use their classrooms for camp
3. having to give out and collect all the permission forms for camp
4. gotta collect RM10 for scout fees from my patrol
5. supposedly in-charge (activities) for troop meeting this Saturday but not sure what to do. Terpaksa go...
6. ketua tingkatan orientation this Saturday... not sure what time starting... not sure whether clashing with troop
meeting (most probably be -something bad- if i don't go for troop meeting, perhaps also if i leave early)
7. worship practice for church on Saturday afternoon... maybe going for youth also, but kinda tiring
8. supposed to have Patrol Leaders Training Course for scouts on Monday... not sure whether it's on or not... most
   probably yes
9. unfortunately, also have worship practice for CF camp from 10.30 a.m. on Monday... i'd be in big trouble with
   scouts...
10. before that, mod. maths/ add. maths tuition at 8 till 10 in the morning on Monday
11. canteen day... guess i'll be helping out...
12. scout camp next Friday till Sunday... i think i'll leave on Saturday night... again, more trouble with scouts
13. CF camp right after that from Monday till Wednesday... hopefully i'll find peace in Peacehaven!
...+ homework
...+ studying
...+ the canteen day forms that can't seem to stop coming... sorry but i'm not promoting or passing it around... also
gotta worry about collecting money (sigh)
...not only that, there's some long term stuff that i'm supposed to do but not doing...

So, it's gonna be a tiring, bumpy, jaggedy, rough, depressing, aching, worrying and stressful 2 weeks. Hopefully it'll end with a 'BANG', and all the worries and troubles and burden would go away. Hopefully i'll get to relax after this 2 weeks. With all these stuff and tasks needed to be done, there's nothing much i can do but to seek God. And think of all these stuff i need to do almost everyday, it's a miracle i survive through all this all these years. All glory goes to God, for truly without him, i'd be like nowhere (poof). I pray that i'll triumph over all obstacles and pray that i'll have help in times of need...

A rare, free, Saturday...

So, it's another rare, free Saturday... cool, got time to relax... kind of. :)
Started of the morning with a late wake... actually i woke up several times about 5 or 6, i think. Well, seems like i'm too used to waking up early on Saturdays. Anywayz, i woke up late, actually very late for me, almost 10! So, late breakfast and stuff.
After lunch, went to church for worship practice... then helped out with a little cutting and slicing for the BBQ! :D Later... it was a looooooong one and a half hour wait... until... it's time to start the fire! :D While somebody takes care of that, i helped to partially microwave the chicken wing, seperate the mud-like texture soft and crumbly looking burger patty (Tesco's choice... that figures), and make the drinks. While all the preparation was going, the barbeque was also going outside the kitchen, barbequeing the chicken and sausages. Then i thought, would it be plain to eat the burger patties and sausages without some chilli sauce? Hmm... so, one uncle drove us to 7 eleven to get some chilli sauce, 6 bottles in exact (unfortunately my estimation was wrong, 2 was more than enough!) You know, there was a whole lot of people, more than 50 O__o' definitely more than expected. Well, a whole lot of pasta did the trick ;), though we have about a 120 chicken wings. Hmmm... what else... let's see, oh yeah, by the way it was only RM5... yup only RM5, it's RM5 and it's no mistake. What i ate? Well, 2 chicken wings, 1 whole burger patty, one sausage, a whole lot of pasta (kinda like forced to finish), a slice of tomato, 3 slices of cucumber, about 2 full spoons of coleslaw, 3 marshmallows :P, a slice garlic bread and toast bread from the BBQ pit with a little sugar on top. Oh, i was full alright, but compare me to my friend who ate 6 pieces of chicken wings (!!!) and it was no small chicken wing, kinda big you know. Oh, well, that was the BBQ partay at church.
Okayz, today, lots of work not done, just finished typing a sample letter, printed some photos for EST, almost done with Civics written work (1 more question to go, i'll do in school), done with the card thingy, Add. Maths done, Mod. Maths done... did i miss anything?
Anywayz, moving on, just a reminder for those of you who so happen to have stumbled upon my blog so late this night... you who are forgetful or just plain blur, there's a English test tomorrow and you'd better bring ur dictionary or you'd be deemed to be doomed unless you have a gargantuous knowledge in vocabulary, so yeah. :) Smile by the way... :D
