It rains again today. You might not notice it but it did rain. Not sure for how long though, started raining at about 12.30a.m. and when i woke up at around 6.00a.m. it was still raining. Was it? The whole early morning? Woke up to the cold of early morning. Chilling... rain makes everything wet, the air, the ground... makes everything cold. Nevertheless there was no rain in the latter part of the day except for a slight drizzle for a short moment in time. So, we won for the class choir singing competition, so, practice and practice for tomorrow... all should go well then. Hmmm... will it rain? The uniform groups will be marching tomorrow. Such a hassel today, just found out that maximum marchers per team is actually 24 and not 33. So happen we got 34 today for practice and it was not until it was quite late that we found out. Had to decide, continue on and risk disqualification or cut down to 24 and have a chance or slight hope of winning. Formation was the problem. Really a problem when there are too many people wanting to take the lead. But in the end, the true leader will show himself and decide for himself. Finally, a formation that can be done, easily and meaningful at least. Almost couldn't make it. Still, we made it. I was one of those people who volunteered out of the marching team. A sacrifice made for the team... or is it? One problem now... i have been marching on wet muddy ground for the past 3 days. Now my shoe is dirty and filthy, stained by mud and grass. Since i'm no longer marching i don't need to wear my scout uniform, means i've got to wear my school uniform and i am in the class choir. Supposed to have clean shoes... don't want to bring our class image down. No extra pair of white shoes.... what to do? Did all i can to wash dryly... if that was even possible. Hopefully my efforts are fruitful and it's clean enough to be presentable. Oh yeah, i have faith, i believe that our formation is meaningful enough to maybe get a third place, though it's not as complex as the others. Hmmm... rain has been falling from the heavens these past few days. Tomorrow? Maybe...
