Woah, i really enjoyed it! First time going for a concert. It's really worth my 50 bucks. Though maybe some of the songs i dunno cause they are new, it still rocks. Love their music. Went there so early. My friend say there will be lots of people. Waited for like over 2 hours there before entering the hall. Met quite many friends there. Well, really had a great time there. Didn't mind standing for over 2 hours. My, my the noise. After the concert i was half deaf and even my voice changed. One thing i regretted is not getting the souvenir there. Wanted to get the t-shirt but it was kind of expensive. Then thought whether it would be worth it to buy their CD. In the end didn't buy anything. When i got back, i really regretted not buying anything. Wasted, really.
Up and down, round and round, that's life's roller coaster, stop for a moment, spread a smile, It'll all be better. :)

Fooooddd....?
Just came back from Penang today. Oh my, lots of delicious food there. Ate a lot there. Maybe a little too much. You can call Penang the 'Food Haven'. Well, i guess they have the best chinese food in Malaysia. Tastes good, scrumptious but still, bad for health, don't you think? Really ate a lot, more than usual. Then thought if i don't jaga my diet i'm gonna die soon! Eat so much, i guess the food also quite unhealthy though it is nice. Don't want to die early because of food! But just once in a while okay right? Gotta exercise. Yay, tomorrow Hillsong concert. Wonder how it'll be.

Har-ree Guruu
Today is the day, a day of remembrance, of all the things our teachers have done for us, good or bad, we have to respect them at least for today.
How unfortunate for my class quite a lot people ponteng. Bet the whole school is the same.
Here's an overview of what i think about today:
Came to school all the stairs locked. Stranded. Had perhimpunan, all the teachers sing that song again, dunno what's the title, i think 'Kami Guru Malaysia' or something. Then had games. Gotta sit at one end of the teres so only got to see 1 or 2 games.
Alright, let's get to the main event. In the hall, performance. Okay, now i'll be very straight forward, i really hate the terrible PA system of the hall and some of the performance is just so lousy. Can't say which... better not say which but this year's one is not that nice. Better not criticize too much, don't want people finding me. Well at least the last performance by all the teachers were not as bad as some of the performance. Ok, that's about all that i should say.
Anywayz, i'll be balik'ing to Penang tmr till Tues. Gonna miss one tuition(darn). After that, concert on Wed! Yay! Better be worth what i paid for.

Blog's first anniversary
Forgot to write yesterday about this. It has been exactly one year since 21st May 2007, when i first started this blog. And now, this would be my 65th blog entry. How long will this go on anyway?
Bio was a mess!
Got back Bio paper 1 today. I got 73%!!! Nooo... not an A! Wait, why my paper 2 structural questions only 24 marks. Should be 25. I still haven't claim marks for the substrate question. So should be 26! Paper 1 got 10 wrong. Wait, how come i got 31? (check, check) Why the answers all wrong wan? Must ask teacher. Something is wrong. Must get A! In the first place i don't even know what is an A. 75 and above or 70 and above. But i still think it's 75. Well even if 70 is enough to get A my standard of A is 75 and above. Nooo... if Bio cannot add marks then i get 2 B's for science my subjects! That can't be happening. Must maintain standard. But how could i complain of not getting high marks if i didn't study as hard as other people? Quite unfair isn't it? Arghh... ignore me.

Papers!!! Missed the paint job!
Today... so early get back test papers. Teacher all mark so fast. Got back Biology, Chemistry, Add. Maths and Mod. Maths. Bio only got back paper 1. Ok lah the marks but i want more. Chemistry... nooooooo! Got B! Only 71%. Not good enough. There goes my hopes of getting at least all A's for the science subjects if not better. Add. Maths... moderate but... but... made a careless mistake. Nooooo! Working all correct and answer correct but at the blank for answer put the wrong answer. Minus 1 mark! Could have tied with Khai Sern. Then the other mistakes were one wrong all wrong. Lost a lot of marks for that. Then my Mod. Maths teacher came and gave me the Mod. Maths test papers. She asked me to give it out after my Add. Maths teacher finished her explanation. People start asking me to give it back. It was the last period and the bell was almost going to ring. I knew if i gave it back after school maybe some people would have gone back and i would miss the bus. I was pressured. To give or not. People keep asking me to give it back. Finally i decided to give back paper 1 first. I knew that it was a risk but i still went on with it. Then i kena. Anyway, paper 1 short of 1 mark to get full. Paper 2... not quite what i expect but overall i got 90+ marks. After everything done i rushed to get to the bus. But unfortunately i missed it. Just as i went out of school, the bus was driving away. Nevermind, get to stay back for a while to help out in the painting with some CF'ers. Decided to go back at 2.30 but then i was too preoccupied and instead i started back at 2.45. Almost late for my tuition. Gotta cook rice some more. 3 days to go then the holidays start. What to do? I have a bad feeling about the holidays...

Band meeting
Today, woke up early to go to Benedict's house for a band meeting. Reached there and noticed that Joseph, Jeremy and Rui Yi was already there. It seems that Joseph woke up early and went to fetch Rui Yi at 8.30. Only 8.30, the band meeting was supposed to be at 9.00. Rui Yi say i look different. Huh? What's different? Shortly after my arrival Jennifer came. Played some song with Joseph then Eng Hoe and Tarvinder came. Then we discussed on what song to play. After a long discussion finally a decision was made. Forget the previous songs just play Boulevard of Broken Dreams. By the way, Montri came very late. He say he got tuition. Everybody felt like whacking him. Started playing... in the end i was the one who ended up playing base. Finally a song done in one day. Then Benedict say,'...a song done without Woon and Montri...'. After that Rui Yi, Jennifer, Eng Hoe and Tarvinder went off first. I know some of them going to Sunway Pyramid but dunno whether some or all. Anyway, the rest of us went to 1U with Benedict's family. Went there to watch Narnia. Not bad of a show. Joseph watched it already on Sunday and on Saturday he watched Iron Man. So 3 movies in three days, 2 same movies. Met Timothy Leong before going into the cinema. Too bad Rui Yi wasn't with us. After the movie, went to a music shop to look see at some guitars. Later the guys decided to go to Jeremy's house to hang out for a little while. He lives in a condo. Quite nice. So happen that when we were approaching his condo house his parents just came back. Spent some time in his condo talking then entertaining Jeremy's family. I left around 6.00. Well, not bad of an outing. I don't get to go for outing with friends often. Gotta enjoy my time while i still can. Exams just over should start on some project. Oh darn, this reminds me of Moral project and the upcoming Civics project. Nooooooo.... Well, enjoy what's left of my free time. Tomorrow got school... wonder what's gonna happen...

Day 9, Mid-term: PJK? and English paper 1 (Last Day!)
It's Teacher's Day today. Did you wish ur teacher Happy Teacher's Day? Gave them a present? Well i kind of feel bad if i don't do this cause i wrote it in my BM essay about how to appreciate teachers. I kind of like criticized people and i felt criticized myself. So the BM essay made me feel bad. Anyway, today is de last day of examz! Time to party? Well maybe for a while. PJK paper up first. Clash with Teacher's Day. No comments on that paper. Moving on to paper 1 of English, i think i didn't do a great job in this. My first section on guided essay i think i did better than the essay itself. Wrote about FOOD! Looks like a simple topic at first but then i not enough points. Wrote about the importance of food then nothing else to say so i added other stuff. Wrote that the world is suffering from lack of food and how to handle it. Wrote some nonsense hopefully i'm not wrong. Wrote about third world countries and starvation then wrote about eating insects in the future. Wierd huh? Well actually i watched some show that says that cows (i think) are not a good source of protein. They eat like so much grass but produce so little. So scientists say that insect is a better source of protein. In fact they are rich in protein. Then they say we should change our diet though it is disgusting. Well, once people didn't even think that eating raw fish would be appropriate but now sushi is being famous and eaten around the world. So why not insects? This is sounding more like my essay. Well guess that's all i'm gonna write today. Enjoy whatever opportunity you have. By the way, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but we still have our exam results to get back and i know that most people would... well you know what i mean. Well, all the best in whatever you do. Hope you'll get good marks.
Time for a quote: 'Even a mosquito doesn't get a slap on it's back until it starts working'.
Happy holidays... for now.

Day 8, Mid-term: Modern Maths paper 1
Overall todays paper was easy. Modern maths paper 1 was objective questions. Only thing is that we may make careless mistakes. That's why i check my paper. Spotted a few mistakes, luckily. Aiming to get full marks for Mod maths if possible. I think it's the only subject where you can get 100%. The rest of the day was quite boring cause i don't take chinese subject. That's about it for today. Tomorrow is the last day. All the best till it finally ends.

Afternoon nap a necessity?
Arrgh!!! Can't stay awake at night if i don't sleep in the afternoon! Yesterday i went for tuition in the afternoon and when i came back i went online. Then i didn't sleep though i could have about 1 hour of sleep. In the end at night i was super sleepy. Wanted to read some essays but while i was reading my eyes slowly closed and i dozed off. I only got to read a few essays. Anyway... it is all over... i mean the BM paper. Finally.
Oh yeah, at school today after EST paper, me, Ming Soon, Alan and Geber decided to fold origami. Had a lot of recycled paper from the test pads and the OMR paper. You know those brown paper behind. Yeah. We cut it to smaller portions and started folding and folding. Later Zi Zheng joined us and we folded more paper origami. In the end we used up all the recycled paper. There was a large frog, a small frog, a large heart, a small heart, 9 hearts joined together, 7 paper man figures joined together, a rose, 2 boats with sail, a long boat, something that was supposed to be a rabbit, a three headed crane, a paper chess piece, some sort of vehicle and some sort of tank. Wow, that's a lot. Dunno what happened to it in the end.

Day 7, Mid-term: EST paper 2 and BM paper 1
It's day 7 now... 2 more days to go. EST today was objective so it was easy. Among one of the easiest paper. Then it was BM paper 1. Guided essay and one long essay. Kind of scared cause must write so long. My tuition teacher say must write 600 words, have 6 points and put in 6 peribahasa. Well if i write 6 sentences for pendahuluan and penutup and write 8 sentences for the points and if each sentence got 10 words i would get 600 words. Very scary. And imagine if surat rasmi comes out... don't want to think about it. I did question 1 . In the end i only wrote 4 points but super long. Each paragraph i wrote about 100 words. Put in about 4 peribahasa. Altogether about 700 words. Well, i did essay first then only guided essay. My guided essay surely very bad cause i simply do. No peribahasa, no nice words just normal writing. Wrote about 240 words. So, altogether i wrote almost 1000 words on 3 sheets of paper. 29 words short of 1000 actually. Kind of hate essays now. Well, 3 papers to go. Mod. Maths should be easy. PJK... no comment. Then English paper 1, more essays. Hopefully it's less stressful than BM.
Day 6, Mid-term: EST paper 1 and Biology
Today's paper was EST paper 1 and Bio. EST paper 1 was... short. Two question with information transfer and one essay question. Information transfer was challenging. Some questions not sure. Didn't know essay question was coming out for paper 1. Didn't know whether there was a specific format to follow for report writing. So i just wrote a report like any other reports. I thought i'd be doomed for Bio today cause of lack of practice. Studied everything for more than 3 hours last night. Watched a little TV before going to bed. Went to bed at 1.00a.m. Still... Bio paper was not as hard as i thought it would be. Miraculously. Maybe some not sure had to tembak but overall was quite okay. Got super lot of excess time. About an hour. Had some sleep during the paper.

Day 5, Mid-term: Modern Maths paper 2 and Chemistry
Mod. Maths wasn't that much of a problem. If i get full marks, 80, then i'll need 10 to get an A at least, 28 to get 90% or 40 to get 100%(if possible). Then it was Chemistry after recess. Used up my time to study during recess doing origami. Made a heart and a crane. Chemistry was cool. Challenging. First sections was moderate, not HARD not easy. Section 2 was a little harder. Essays... unsure how to write, more precisely 'describe' the experiment. Wanted to do number 2 cause i like it more but the 'describe' question in number 2 i'm more lost than in number 1. At least number 1 got guideline. Anyway, the third question for number 2(ii) i dunno. I know starts with 'a'. Well, another science subject done one more to go. Wonder how will Biology be...

Day 4, Mid-term: Civics
Nothing much yesterday... just Civics for me. Civics... well... challenging even though i studied. So i shouldn't have studied even if it was just briefly. That's all yesterday. Then after school stayed back for CF. Attendance not bad, about 80 people. Then it was recess cell. After that mamak! Not bad a day in the end.
Friday, 9 May 2008
Day 3, Mid-term: History and Physics
Today... i had His-story and Physics... it was... it was... it... was... easier than expected? Well, for His-story i kind of like sailed pass the objective questions with almost no effort at all. Tick this, tick that and 40 questions were done. Then moving on to structural questions. A little more challenging but still within my grasps. Some can even 'tembak'. No choice, had to. Then the next paper was Physics. Challenging at first. The objective part was a little tougher than the structural questions and essay. Overall... easier than what i expected. Thank God.

Day 2, Mid-term: English paper 2 and Additional Maths
Phew, a tough day today... well technically yesterday. Had two subjects that lasted for more than 2 hour. The agony and it was hell going through Add. Maths. English was tough for me cause i'm weak in my English since a long time ago. Not to say that weak but not up to standard. Add. Math.... wow... super tense... managed to finish all except for one question. Not even sure the others are correct. Some people speak about it as if it was nothing at all... or maybe i am not that good in Add. Maths... or maybe i'm just being 'perasaan'. I hate all these long papers but what can i do about it. got to get use to it sooner or later.

First Day, Mid-term: Moral and BM paper 2
It's the first day of exams. Started of well with moral. I found that moral was quite of fun compared to BM. BM was super long. Write and write and write all the time for more than 2 hours. Got neckache during the process. It was very very long. Imagine the science subjects. Then in the afternoon got BM tuition. Late because i overslept. After BM tuition, my tuition friends decided to have revision for Add. Maths paper tomorrow. Helped them out a bit but mostly they were discussing about other stuff. Tomorrow's paper isn't that hard, hopefully. All the best to everyone!

Something funny... unexpected.
One day last week i asked, "Where did jazz come from?" and Ming Soon answered, "Jazzelton (Jesselton)".
Then just today we were talking about life, what if we lived in an opposite world. There won't be school. We wouldn't live inside the house. Instead of gravity acting on us, it repels us. So we would be floating in space. The laws of physics does not apply. There's no homework. Imagine the teacher saying, "Class, make some noise" or "Class, why so quiet". Maybe, "You better don't do your work ar, don't pass it up", "Exams are coming, don't study ar" or "Good morning, students". Well, if we lived in an opposite world, we would be dead. Guess we would be spirits.

Exams... hate it!
I'm stuck at home and i'm forced to study. If i fail, i'm gonna get grounded. I hate it when this happens. And it still seems that nobody believes that i don't study at home. And for tomorrows gathering, can't make it, you know why. Guess they'll be disappointed. Supposed to go Benedict's place tmr. The guys in my band said they wanted to compose a song (so far i heard it is ciplak). Then supposedly group study and BBQ lunch. Then should be study again. (sigh~)
