Gonna go holidaying!

I'll be going on a holiday in Thailand early tomorrow morning. Chiang Mai in exact. Just hope that all will be safe there and that i will have a great time there. Same goes to you out there, happy holidaying! Hope you enjoy your holidays so far. If not... you'd better get out (NOW! PRONTO!IMMEDIATELY!) there and start enjoying the hols before it's over unless you really want to torture yourself being bored.
It's December already and just exactly one month till school reopens (take note: 31 days, 744 hours, 44640 minutes, 2678400 seconds and counting!!!). Most of all, Christmas is coming!!! Merry Christmas to you all too and a Happy New Year, and also Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Hari Raya and so on. :)
Summary: Enjoy your hols :)

A long week...

It's finally the end of another week in my December hols, a long week of seemingly endless tuition classes... Three days for 7 hours altogether, all full with mathematical equations that could blow some people's mind off. Waking up early for the morning tuitions, not something  i usually do during the hols but it's somewhat good waking early rather than sleeping the whole morning. Meeting on Wednesday, BK class on Thursday... more like a time for test cause teacher gave us a test paper to do. Well, i could now say the 'exams' are finally all over now.... i can rest my mind in tranquility from the horrors of tests and the lengthy and stressful time span of each test paper. Finally, rest and relaxation for the hols after a year of hard labour. I thank God for no secretary work during the holidays and i hope i won't have any for the whole hols.... i really, really hope so, especially not for the last few weeks of December. I can sense a tough year ahead with all my posts, i've gotta toughen up and organize or i'll fall and break. Well, there'll be a bar-bee-que today that i'm not sure whether to go. Well, it wouldn't hurt going though.
Okay, during this hols at home so far i've been eating, sleeping, studying BK, playing the guitar, solving the rubiks cube countless times over and over again, the same playing computer game over and over again, playing games on my handphone till it runs out of battery, watching TV, listening to music and going online. Oh yeah, waiting for a book i've been waiting for to go into stores :)

LKT camp aka MATA! Part 2

Day 2
I woke up at 4.30 a.m. Dunno what time i slept but i just suddenly woke up. Guess i was the first since i didn't see anybody around. It was cold in the main hall, no blankets. Went to brush my teeth and wash my face. No idea what else to do. Went to the porch and did some exercise. Then some people started to shift out to the main hall to sleep. I continued my journal and managed to finish it except for the 'Menyusur Alam' part which we were gonna do later. By right supposed to wake up at 6 a.m., dunno why i can suddenly wake up. My legs were aching. So happen i saw that rock reflexology thingy and decided to walk on it. Oh! Ouch! Painful! But soon after i got the hang of it. Walked twice and my aching legs miraculously cured. The sun was rising, outside was cooling, it was a little misty.
Okay, fast forward, everyone started to wake up one by one and wash up. I was already ready for the morning exercise. Joseph led the exercise. We did some stretching and then went for a jog... a looong jog. We jogged to the nearby town which was about 1km away. I didn't actually jogged but fast walked. Then my legs were aching again.
Went for breakfast then it was time to go for 'Menyusur Alam'. Walked into Taman Alam from the tram station which was around half a kilometer away. Then it was time to go trekking in the jungle near the river. Another long walk. Yew Leung, Chien Choon and i walked together. The pathway towards the lake was like in an orchard, straight paths with tractor tracks on the ground with open skies up above and vegetation on the left and right. At one point we reached an open space where there was a lake and the trail was going around the lake. Played a little lalang shooting. Saw some wierd rock fomation that looked like a gigantic ants nest. Saw hole on the ground wondering whether they were crab holes. Saw a mysterious bird, only the outlines of its shadows, perched on a tree. At a certain point there was a fallen tree. So we entered the swampy area using the pathway on stilts. Saw lots of crabs, two types to be specific, and mudskippers and also an eagle. Another long walk around till we reached the other side of the fallen tree. Walked further and i really thought i saw an alligator. Yew Leung says it was an iguana. No idea but i really thought i saw the scaly back of an alligator. So we just called it a alligator/crocodile/lizard/iguana. Continued on till there was another blockade in front. So happen there was a suspension bridge over the river. We met up with the group in front of us and went into the jungle. Now it's really jungle trekking though not so extreme. The jungle floor was slippery and full of leaves. Didn't see much life in the jungle except for the plants. In the end we emerged out of the jungle, back to civilization.
Moments passed by but there was still one last group behind. Where were they? The teachers were waiting, so was Joseph and i. The rest have gone to eat early lunch and went back to the chalet. It was about 9 a.m. when my group emerged from the jungle. Then teacher left me and Joseph to wait for the other group. The group with Bala and Rachel and the young Form 1 and From 2 guys. At around 10.30 a.m. they finally came out. More than an hour we waited. Wondered what they were doing. It seems they went catching insects and crabs! :)
Then we went for lunch. Had to rush cause we were gonna check out at 11.30 a.m. Ate fast, reach back the chalet, no time to bath, changed to camp t-shirt and packed my bag. As usual Bala's group was last to arrive. Then it was time to depart and we left off for Bagan.
There we went to drink coconut water. Kinda don't like coconut, gives me headache. That means if i get stranded on an uninhabited island and there is only coconut as a food source, i'd surely die! Seems that we came to Bagan for dinner last night. Didn't know then. Later we went off walking around, some people bought seafood and we visited the fisherman's village there.

After spending time at Bagan, we headed to Pantai Remis! :) Which was actually in Perak, southern Perak. It seems that we went further up to Bagan and even further up to Pantai Remis, Perak. There, it was time to enjoy seafood but i decided not to. I was so excited  about the beach. I was talking about making a kite and flying it at the beach. Luckily there were lots of kites sold there, large kites, small kites, animal-shaped kites. So happen i went to the medan selera to buy my kite. The guy there selling kite said there was a RM3 kite and a RM4 kite. I chose the RM4, he said that one will surely fly. And surely it did! :) It flew so high. The one i bought used a fishing reel kind of string while the others who bought kite had kind of a lousy type of cheap thread which couldn't spin well. Really, the handle was useless, it was supposed to spin by itself. My string was way longer than the others. Unfortunately for the others, their kites were hard to fly, no idea why, smaller? No aerodynamics? Well, i found challenge in trying to fly one of their kites so it was kinda interesting, got to test my kite flying skills. Mine was just awesome, worked so well that even Yew Leung loved to play with it.
Soon after, i let my kite down and flew it very, very low, i could even touch it. At the meantime, i was helping some guys collect seashells :) while holding my kite with my other hand. Hard to find rare seashells but i managed to find quite a few. Gave most to my friend but i kept one small one that i found. Looked like a seashell and a nicely shaped rock a the the same time.
Later it was the cert giving ceremony and camp photo session. Well, i guess the best and most fun part was the beach followed by the games at camp. After all the certs were given it was time to head back home. Dunno how long it took. I guess i reached back around 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. At 8 p.m. i was kinda sleepy and couldn't keep my eyes open. I thought i slept quite long already on the ride home. Still i was sleepy. My legs were aching for i have like walked around 4km!

Okay, this is the end of my story about the camp. :)

LKT camp aka MATA!

Well, the camp was just great and fun toothough i wasn't exactly one of the 'participants'. Still i had lots offun and met new people. :)

Day 1
Gathered at school and registered. Went out to wait for the bus... towait... and wait... for over an hour. At the meantime we played theice-breaker game in advance while waiting for the bus. Sir visited usjust before leaving for Cameron again. Well actually the bus driverjust woke up around 9a.m. if i'm not mistaken, that's why it was late.Okay, then it was the bus ride to Kuala Selangor. Around 2 hours laterwe reached Bukit Malawati, our first pit stop.
Before visiting the museum up the hill, we went for lunch, quite earlythough (didn't knew then that there was time later for lunch). Atechicken rice at a Malay restaurant. I notice that the food there wascheap. Later we gathered back and took the tram ride up the hill.
At the top, saw lots of monkeys. People there selling long beans tofeed the monkey so i decided to buy one bunch to feed them. The monkeyswere friendly but one of them snatched a whole lot away from my hand.Bad monkey. There were 2 types of monkeys there, markad long tailmonkey and silver leaf monkey. The silver leaf monkey was quiteaggressive and i found out that the markad long tail monkeys love toeat long beans. Okay, later all of us went into the museum. Mostly allabout the history of Selangor and artifacts. Outside were some cannons.Guess i'll post up some pics in my photo album. One of it i though wasa cannon but i was wrong. Guess what it is. Look at the caption. :)Then we walked to some stone table (forgot the name). Looked like itwas a picnic table or some sort but it was actually a place where theyused to kill betrayers... by beheading them!!! :0 After all of teachersexplaining and some pics, we headed to the tram stop and went down thehill. Some of us had to take the next tram for it was full (i was oneof them)... it started raining though.
Later, we had time for lunch. I already ate lunch so i went for a walk around the town with my friends. I saw a caravan. Seems like it's from France. Saw it again parked outside a boarding school. Took a closer look: sur les chemins du Monde. Wonder what that meant.
After that, we headed to our campsite, Kuala Selangor Chalet. Well, itwasn't like a chalet but a house which fit all of us. It had fivebedrooms and two bathrooms indoor, one outdoor. There's also a publichall (just an open area in the house like a large living room) with aTV. Well, we settled in and rest... well not for the camp committee. Weplanned for the day ahead and games later.
Since ice-breaking was done, we used the extra time to get the peoplein their groups and asked them to make a group name and group cheer.Next up was the first module.
While it was on, we guys, the committee aka facilitators, wentpreparing the games. We had 6 games. Let's see, water-flour crawl, eggpassing, one-touch football, rubber band passing, chair bridge andhelicopter spin. It was fun but i wasn't the one playing. After that wegathered the 'victims' and make them squat. Then after a 'secret code'was said, we, the facilitators had a special suprise for them.Following the signal, SPLASH, buckets of water and water balloons wentflying all around. All the groups got wet. Then it was payback time forthem. :) They surely had a great time during the games while thefacilitators had to clean up... well after all, we were the planners.Played some captain ball and volleyball after the station games. Theteachers brought back some coconut leaf for us to play tarik upih... ifyou know what it is, but in the end we didn't play though i wasinterested.
Then everyone went for a bath and got ready to see the fireflies! Byright it was fireflies after dinner but then we did it before dinner, guess we didn't want to wait in a long line if we were late. Well, fireflies are rare, Malaysia is fortunate to have it. It's not thefirst time i went to see fireflies though. If i'm not this was my 3rdtime.
For dinner we had seafood! Finished rather quickly then we went aroundlooking for water. It seems that they don't provide water at camp site.Luckily i had my own stash of water. Concerned of the other campers,Joseph and Chong De went off looking for water. Came back with box ofabout 16 bottles, if i'm not mistaken, of 1.5 litre bottles of water. Many shops were closed as it was pass 9p.m.
Back at campsite, it was time for 2nd module. We, the committee, againwent to prepare games for the 2nd module. There were 4 games, singing anursery rhyme backwards while not smiling or laughing, going through aloop made of rafia, throwing shoes into the bucket and dressing up asan 'ideal' leader. Well, Mun Chien and i were in-charge of theshoe-in-the-bucket game though i did most of it cause Mun Chien wastaking photos for the camp. I had to run here, run there, picking upmissed shoes, (the shoes were mine and Mun Chien's cause the groups didnot wear shoes). The funny thing was i got hit on the face by my ownslipper. Darn it's a dangerous job but it was fun. In the end, my shoeand slipper was wet cause the bucket was wet. By the way, the people inthe groups were tied on their legs while playing the games. Last gamewas the dressing up game led by Joseph. The groups were to dress upsomebody with newspaper what they think was an ideal leader. One wassomebody dresses briefly saying that a leader needs to be simple orsomething and must be (takes off paper clothes) like the peopleand not just all a leader, one was Parameswara saying that a leadermust be brave, one is a nicely dressed in a suit businessman sayingthat a leader must be presentable and finally one was Queen Elizebethsaying that a leader is not necessarily a man but a woman can be onetoo!
After all that it was sleeping time. I and some others were busy doingthe journal that we have to write for every activity and later to begiven to sir.

Okayz, it's kinda late right now so i think i'll just continue Day 2 tomorrow. Nightz...

Love the breeze!

Went for a walk just after the rain today... oh, the cool gentle breeze :) so calm and relaxing. I should go out more often. Especially after the rain. I really love this kind of weather... well not the rain but the gentle breeze.
Anywayz, i went to school today! Finally out of my house. Got some fresh air, cendol and berbonding with frens! Heard that there's lots of stuff the SPBT people gotta do in December... well, all the best!
Going to LPT camp tomorrow! Hopefully it'll be interesting that it'll keep me occupied thinking about the 'great' stuff that happened there for a few days. So that i won't rot at home of course :)
Oh, such nice weather today...

Spooky encounter

...it was a dark and stormy night... ... ..? Well, i was playing minesweeper flags with KSern  till suddenly... ... [~spooky~] This was the last message from him:
KSern says:
   wow...
   hey
   open your curtain
I quickly rushed to the nearest open curtain... which so happen is up stairs. Stared out to the darkness of night... nothing. I checked the other windows... nothing either.
That was the last i heard of him in the middle of a minesweeper flags game! What happened???
I immediately asked Ming Soon... could it be? UFO's are migrating to Earth?!... ... just kidding... but it's weird though, what happened to KSern? Some prank? Lightning? Abduction!!! Hmmm.... we'll never know... for now [~spooky~]
Anywayz, gotta go, have camp briefing tomorrow at 9am. Jsooncx signing out. :)

(hopefully nothing to worry about)

Lots to tidying up

Well, it's after the school days and now the holi-days so gotta tidy up all those school books. Not only that but other stuff, lots of papers and files and more papers!!! Well what can i do with it, i am after all Ketua Bahagian Kertas... lots of reusable and recyclable paper. Plan to use it next year but my file is gonna explode. Well, it took me two days to tidy up my bag and the shelf where i keep my books... now, i have kind of like given up with the files and other stuff. The holidays are sometimes very annoying, i want to do something but then i fell like not doing it and then i just give up on doing it. That's bad, i'm gonna rot. Basically i wake up, eat, go online, play some games and go to sleep. So far ever since the end of school i've not stepped out of my house. Gotta get out but something's holding me back! Wonder where can i go to anyway... The only thing i have weekly is my Add. Maths tuition but that's gonna stop at the end of November. Then there's the LPT camp and some other activity. Then i'm going holidaying again in a country not too familiar to me but maybe to Montri. Well, it's not enough. I can't bear thinking about what i'll be doing everyday, computer, handphone, rubiks cube and maybe some PS... noooooooooooooo, rotting i am.

Exam: Day 13 (Final!)

It's finally over though it seems like it was a week away when it just started. One paper today, Mod Maths paper 1, objective... what do you expect, it's quite easy. Got one wrong when i checked my answers, not bad. Hmmm... so busy the whole day round, running here, running there, doing this, doing that, finishing this, that, giving this and that... my, my how tiring. At least, hopefully, i get to enjoy the hols, need lots of rest for next year... for now, no comments on my exam marks :)

Exams: Day 9

It's day 9 of the 3rd week of exams, all going well, not to say perfectly well. Today, Chemistry paper 3 and Add. Maths paper 1. Chem was kind of easy except that each question is 3 MARKS!!! That's a lot to loose for a single mistake. Add. Maths... well it was easier than paper 2 of course and i finished it kind of quick... 30 minutes to spare. Yes, it was easy, especially at the indices and logarithm part, BUT.... there's always a but, it seems that i made quite some mistakes. I rechecked during the final 30 minutes and found some careless mistake that i would definitely feel so 'geram!' if i made it. Luckily i checked but only until Q17, the variance part. I did a huge mistake here... calculated, got an answer, rechecked, made another careless mistake, times up, oh nooo!, last changes, answer should be correct if my working is correct but i doubt so. So, that's about it for Add. Maths paper 1, i really do hope i didn't make careless mistakes in the last 8 questions. Okay, two days to go, two papers to go, Physics 2 and BM 2... well, that's for me, then it's...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... you know what i mean.

Exam: Day 5

EST, the 'take your own sweet time' paper... lot's of time to spare ending up with a 400 over word essay. However, EST isn't the feared part of exam today, it was none other than the killer, mind boggling, super time insufficient paper Additional Mathematics paper 2. So, it was kind of true after all, if Mod. Maths was hard, what can you say about Add. Maths? Well, at least i tried my best to finish as many questions as i could... though there's a high chance that i'll be wrong for some or maybe ALL!!! (hopefully not all) So far, confirmed 13 marks down the drain. The locus part... indeed it was tough and tricky. I could have, i should have but i did not study the so very similar question but twisted. I knew something like this would happen... yet i can do nothing about it now so forget it. It seems that my book has a very similar question and i suspected something like that question would come out knowing teacher has already warned us. I've done it before, i've seen it and suspected it, yet i did not study it, typical me. Just hope i don't get wrong because of careless mistakes... i really hate it when that happens (geram!). Oh well, time to move ahead...

Exam: Day 4

Exams are here all over again... most stressful thing is that i never want to push myself studying like all the others are... are they? As for me, i take my own sweet time, enjoying whatever i study... slow and steady yet last minute. Okay, now to comments on exams, i am thankful that now, all the super long essay papers for BM and BI are done. Really had a great time yesterday doing Moral... it's like everything just fell perfectly into place... hopefully i won't loose marks for doing an extra essay... really, really hope so. Not many papers today, Mod. Maths only for me. It was... 'challenging'... not too hard not easy but i still had to think a whole lot and finally manage to finish the paper. And again, i did the whole paper when for section B i was only supposed to choose 4! Well, i didn't read the instructions... but it was a different case in Moral. Okay, now gotta get lots of rest before i start studying cause even doing the paper though it's not tough can really make you stressed out... the time, you know, so loooong. If you think Mod. Maths was tough, what about Add. Maths tomorrow!?

Rush to finish!

Oh, the holidays are almost over. Right after the hols, PMR starts about a week later. And so does my end-year exams. Holidays almost over. Still got work not done yet... let's see Civics project, Bio work, Secretary stuff (x2) and lots of tuition work that has been piling up months ago. I guess i should just ignore it for like forever... Most of the time during the hols i used for the secretary stuff... Now i'm out of time and i'm still not done. Not forgetting that i also have to study! Oh, so hard to do that secretary work without enough info and missing info. By right, the teachers are supposed to do it. Just hope i can finish on time, at least one of them. Really, not enough info. If not i could finish it quite long ago. Well, besides doing my secretary work, i've been mostly sleeping and watching TV. Guess it's part of me being lazy to blame too. Okay, most important thing to finish is the secretary work and Civics project. Hopefully enough time to study... and rest too!

Tagged by Jojo

Well, this will be my first time doing a tag...

RULE 1: Each player of this game starts off with 15 weird things/ habits/ little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 15 weird things/ habits/ little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end, you need to choose 10 people to be tagged and list their names. No TAG backs!

1. I am too used to sleeping afternoon naps... maybe not even a nap but a looooonnnng sleep equivalent to a few hours.
2. Work surrounds me but i don't just do them in one go... only when i feel like it. Sometimes it gets delayed and piles up with other work till i have a whole lot of work to do. Nevertheless, somehow i finish it... sooner or later.
3. When i'm not satisfied with something e.g. some super tough question, i don't give up. Especially if someone challenges me. I can go on thinking about it and if too desperate, give some scientific, logical, silly answer for the sake of answering...
4. My school bag is always extremely heavy... and if things couldn't get any worse my hand held stuff e.g files is getting heavier too! I bring too many books... though i don't exactly need it. Just being safe.
5. I can get 'crazy/high/nuts' when it's too late at night when i'm supposed to sleep. So, beware...
6. I have a secret 'missions' book to keep track of my work... i used to have 'the chicky book' but now it's upgraded. Well, not much of a secret now is it.
7. I have many 'selfs' if you notice.
8. I used to have a 'threat list'. Some of you may know what it is.
9. Not many people know where i live... that was last time. I'm very secretive especially with my address and house phone number. As for now, i guess still many people don't know where i live... i think.
10. I'm scared of phone calls... that was last time also. Now, i'm scared of certain phone calls. Every time my house phone rings i always hope it's not for me. I'm most afraid of phone calls that brings more work!
11. Randomness is kind of like my specialty... maybe some of you may know.
12. I support original music and movie CD/DVD! Unforetunately not for PS2 games...:P
13. I am a shy guy. It was more obvious last time though.... i'm still a shy guy now but not that obvious now. It's hard for me to interact with people escpecially gurls... but i i know them well enough though it'll be super easy.
14. No idea why but my favourite word is 'banana'. Then comes in 'monkey', 'potato' and 'tomato'. Weird.
15. I looooove science facts and general knowledge, i often tell people the facts i know .... syok sendiri, nothing else to say.

There, that's it. My first tag done.
I tag... i'd rather not tag anyone :) remember, time is running/flying but you still have a few million milliseconds till holiday ends. Study, STUDY!!! As for me, i shall just relax. LOL.

Randomness!

Yes, i have nothing better to do than to just waste my time doing some random stuff on my blog....
Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!  Smile!
There are 42 'Smile!' words here...

8) ;)  :) :D :P 8P B)
8) ;)  :) :D :P 8P B) 8) ;)  :) :D :P 8P B) 8) ;)  :) :D :P 8P B) 8) ;)  :) :D :P 8P B) 8) ;)  :) :D :P 8P B) 8) ;)  :) :D :P 8P B) ... and there are 6 different types of smileys times 7 times...

BTW, you have approximately 9 days, 216 hours, 12 960 minutes, 777 600 seconds, 77 760 000 milliseconds to go till the end of the holidays... that's a hundreds of yours, thousands of minutes, hundred thousands of seconds and millions of milliseconds...

And yes again, i have nothing else better to do... i still owe Joseph a tag... but for now, it's just randomness... remember don't forget to smile!

Can't you see all the smileys all around smiling to you... don't be cruel, smile back to them... here's one Smile start smiling
.

A weekend off!

Went holidaying last week as some of you may know. Went to Port Dickson for my father's punya association's punya family day. Had a great time there, got to relief stress.Went for gardening at school for Civics project and after that... holidaying! It was all just great, everything paid for. Stayed in one of those chalets facing the sea. Well, the food was great, free food, all you can eat buffet style... yum, yum! I got a chance to witness a proposal and a wedding too! :) Hmmm... there was a pet farm there but didn't get to pet the pets or feed them because it was at night and the next day there were telematches. There were chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats?, turtles and some birds. Oh, i also saw a peacock wandering around the tennis court, both male and female. There was also a spice garden and orchid garden too! Too bad i could only see it from outside cause it was not open. I also had a great time during the telematches, at least it was fun. Later i went banana boating!!! A first for me! Quite fun too, throw from the banana boat three times... yucks the sea water was extremely salty! Then went kayaking, kind of like it too! It's my second time kayaking. Hmm...what else? Took quite a number of pictures. Oh yeah, i also visited Tanjung Tuan a.k.a. Tanjung Richado. Went up the hill to the lighthouse there. You know, the famous lighthouse in the sejarah book some trade ship got attacked. From there i could see the vast expanse of ocean and sky. The sun was setting too so i took more pictures! It seems that there were whirlpools in the ocean. Quite interesting but don't know what causes it. Sunken ships maybe? Overall, great time, interesting experience, stress relieved and a rare occasion where i could go holidaying during a weekend between school weeks. :)

Stuff that happened...

10th September 2008, Wednesday
Rushed up to class right after Chemistry for it was already late for PJK... not a good thing. Rushing up the stairs i don't even know what happened, inertia maybe, or perhaps momentum... my calculator flew and fell onto the floor. It glided across the corridor of the third floor and went through an opening at the bottom of the concrete railing. A three story drop would be inevitable if not for the awning right on the other side of the railing... it was a scary moment, time was running and by the second the calculator was on its way to annihilation. As it inched closer to the edge i felt more and more fearful of a drop which would mean the end of my calculator. 5 inches, 4 inches, 3 inches... soon it stopped... a sigh of relief. Thanks to friction it didn't take the plunge. So, now, how am i going to get it? I'm already late for PJK. Some girls from my class were walking back from the Chemistry lab too. I asked them to help be retrieve it.
Worried about my calculator during PJK, what is happening? Will it be saved? Hopefully. Came back to class but there was no sign of calculator anywhere. Where could it have gone to? When i checked the awning for my calculator, it wasn't there. Could it have dropped and broke? Could somebody have manage to retrieve my calculator? Asked around.... not sure what happened though but i guess somebody else took it. Well, it could have been worse. I only knew my calculator like this year only. Not even a year that means... goodbye calculator. I have officially declared that i lost my calculator. So, it's back to my old one now, nice meeting you, again.

11th September 2008, Thursday
Had quite a fun time during the last two periods for English. Teacher asked us to draw something, some futuristic gadget. Well, i really would like to be an inventor one day. So, me and my friend went on planning and innovating. We finally came up with a great gadget that if it would work, it could help humankind greatly in the future. It's called Ani-eco! Unforetunately, time was inediquate and it was 1.00 already. So, there was no time to present it to the class.
Thought i would have time to eat lunch before going for music practice for CF... looks like there was no time. Quickly bought a bun and sandwich from the canteen and headed out. Foretunately we got a ride from a friend. So at least we didn't need to walk all the way to KJ. Practiced till 3.00 then it was over i started on my journey home. Hmmm... journey, like to use that word cause i have to walk quite far, even from school. At least this is a different route. I like taking different routes cause it seems more interesting. I get to see the plants and flowers around the neighborhood. Anyway, the route i'm taking was kind of like 'straight forward' cause i was following the highway to KJ LRT station where i would cross the bridge and proceed home through a familiar route i take everytime i use the LRT. Kind of like hate that route for some certain reason....

12th September 2008, Friday
Frogs and crickets for Biology. Why are some people just so afraid of these stuff. It won't kill you. As the others were either dissecting a frog or using the cricket for the Bio experiment, i was playing with the other crickets. My friend bought so many. A white and large cricket caught my attention... the fairest of them all you could say. i named it Milk. Took it out and played with it. Quite tame and doesn't jump around. Quite cute. I decided to rear it. Brought it back in a case SN gave me.
CF today, not only CF for me actually, LPT meeting and Scouts meeting too! But still, i had to play in the music team for CF that day. So, CF comes first. By the time worship was over, it was already kind of late to go for LPT... i even saw them coming down from upstairs so looks like it's over. For Scouts... hope they could survive without me. Somebody has got to write those minutes. So, i stayed in CF. Later it was recess cell as usual. Introduced my new pet to the afternoon session. Some were scared some were totally okay with it, in fact, they liked it. It got kind of active at that time. Still quite tame. I was just wondering how am i gonna keep it, feed it, dispose its feaces?
Later we went for our usual mamak time. Quite often do i have late lunch on Fridays. Spent quality time with the other CF'ers there. It has always been our tradition.
Walking back, with Sky Bear and Li Ren.... i don't like carrying so many stuff. Oh, so heavy. Guitar in one hand, file in the other, carrying my o so heavy school 'boulder' bag. Really x100 heavy. Got tired, as usual, but this was a lot, lot of stuff. Just don't like it. Does my bag need to loose weight? You know why it's heavy? Cause i want to be safe rather than sorry. I only pack my text books and exercise books. The others like note books and literature books i just leave it there. Oh, such a long and tiresome journey. Stopped by the playground outside my primary school to have a break and played the see-saw. Long time we haven't play the see-saw. Don't know what my friends were trying to do so i just tagged along. They were actually trying to balance the see-saw. I stood in the middle to help them and we managed to balance it for 3 seconds! Yay!
As usual Friday was the most happening day of the week. Lantern Festival is here! Well at least for the celebration of my primary school. The real day hasn't arrive yet. Wait till the full moon. Went to my primary school to check it out as i did every single year since i was in secondary school. This year no Montri and Joseph so no friends to go along with. I was all by myself. Spent 30 minutes there, saw very few people and then i left. Oh, it's such a hot day, you could see the blue ring as you look in to the so bright so clear moon... sign of so called good weather, no rain. Went to seven eleven to buy an ice-cream. Bought some ice-cream i've seen for my first time, vanilla ice-cream with smarties in a cup! It says there it was high in calcium. Then i began to walk taking the route pass Yuk Chai. Seems that Yuk Chai was also celebrating lantern festival today. Two schools, one occasion. What a day, felt tired and slept early. Still got lots of stuff i could blog about, that's why it's an interesting week. Oh, this blog entry is extremely long... hehehe...

13th September 2008, Saturday
My friend in 4A said he would be going to school today for Civics project. Darn, why not this week, i'd prefer this week.... (sigh)
Latest news update: Milk has died!!! No idea why, no food? No water? The so cute, so active cricket that i got during Bio class yesterday has died...

Such a dark day

It's Saturday school day today again. As usual attendance is minimal and the class is so empty. Wasn't like that last time on Saturdays. Could it be the exams? Quite free and relaxed today. During Chem we did the insoluble salt experiment and redid the copper(II) sulphate experiment. Hopefully it's a success this time. Though our lead iodide wasn't dissolved properly, we still had more than the other group :). Almost dropped a conical flask. Managed to hit it back onto the table before it dropped and most probably shatter into pieces. Only thing that dropped was the filter funnel... at least it was plastic. PJK today but i didn't go... had other stuff to do. After recess no studies, only some exercise for Mod. Maths. By the way, thanks to Ming Soon for helping me mark attendance for CF :). It was so dark all of a sudden, a large, gigantic, enormous cumulonimbus rain cloud span above in the sky devouring the sun. It was like an eclipse. Wind blowing so strongly and leafs rustling so loudly, so cold and dark. The rain reminds me of Christmas... Christmas is coming! Such a cold day, offed all the fan but still felt cold. All my papers flying out the window onto the floor. That reminds me of my job as Ketua Bahagian Kertas.... truly. Nothing much happened later this day, only that it rained again... so, how do you like the rain?

Fridayz

It's another Friday at school. Usual Friday stuff, CF, recess cell, mamak'ing. Lot's of things to do as usual. Photo stuff mostly. Hmmm... what's interesting, i guess my group failed in the salt experiment... not sure yet, gotta see tomorrow whether it works out but i've gotta be optimistic for the sake of my group. CF today... quite a rush, make ready attendance them gotta go for scouts AGM. It seems that we had to do this short AGM again cause there were no teachers at the last AGM and that the teachers don't agree of giving a gonne be Form 4 the Troop Leader post. For me, it's okay as long i i can work well with him/her. So the new TL has changed... you'll have the time to shine, don't worry. Still, i'm the Secretary. Busy year ahead, trying to cope with it and get used to it now. Went back for CF later after handling some other stuff, it was quite short anyway. Long time have not stayed back for the latter part of CF cause got replacement tuition... at least i can today. Stayed back after school for recess meeting, very early. Everything ended early and we went to 'makan' early too. Still, i spent about more than an hour with my fellow CF'ers. Started home at about 6.00p.m. Late. And the sky was dark to the south and bright to the north... i think. It was going to rain. Started drizzling a little heavier when i started walking. Then around SKTM it was raining. At least not as heavy as yesterday and i have an umbrella. So, great time today and it's still raining. Sumatera wind is now actually, guess that's the cause.

Rain! Lots of rain!

Another day at school, more task come upon me. Fortunately i was free for the first two period.... too free in fact and it was unfortunate for me cause i didn't bring some work from tuition or my BK book to study. So, spent the first two period doing mostly nothing... oh, i helped out with highlighting the SPM timetable. I was so frustrated with highlighting those stuff, highlighter and ruler surely doesn't go together. Anywayz, work just suddenly drop out of nowhere. So, my point is, i have work! Not to say i enjoy work but work follows me... Hmmm.... stayed back after school for awhile. KSern wanted me to explain some stuff on Physics. As i was about to go home, when i opened th library door, i saw rain.... it was drizzling and i said to myself, 'Great... it's raining'. Pack my bag, got my umbrella out and walked home. It almost seemed like when i start walking it gets heavier.... is it just me? Past KJ station it rained heavier.... quite heavy in fact. Guess my umbrella was a little spoilt... i felt like the it was raining under my umbrella. In the end, when i reached home, i was drenched with rain water... my bag too, at least my file and Physics reference book was spared as i was carrying it. Wet and cold... Why, it has been raining for many days now... is it the rainy season?

Another beezee day

Work just surrounds me... i'm too into it... or it's just that work likes me. Came to school today, met up with somebody and got a lot of stuff, a large file and stamps. Great... more things to carry... luckily i'm not walking home. Late for Chem and teacher was angry... well, it's partially my fault i think. Didn't send attendance... anywayz, they come too early, 2nd period already they start asking for attendance. PJK played dodgeball... at least i got to hit somebody. Recess... very hectic, haven't marked the Add. Maths books, needed to send attendance to form teacher, find another teacher, send the Chem PEKA to teacher... at least i got some help. Couldn't find the teacher... kind of wasted my time during recess walking around school when i could at least briefly read through the notes for Moral test. Had to multi-task, walked and read at the same time... fortunately i didn't bump into anyone. After recess was Moral, had Moral test. Took it without studying and hoping that 3 years of experience and studying for exams would suffice. Though i manage to finish in time and manage to finish all the questions... i didn't think that my answers made sense... so, my point, looks like i'm gonna fail. Later was, Mod. Maths... wasn't listening to teacher cause i was doing the photo thingy. Copied the work but missed out some points... so i couldn't do the work just now... looks like have to wait till tomorrow. Hmmm.... as i was writing the position of the people in the class photo, i kind of somehow missed out Teck Yan's name... Teck Yan of all people... at least someone short and less noticeable, but Teck Yan? Last period EST... didn't do much. Everybody wasn't listening and teacher was busy for a moment. Had to go round selling pics... though my mission of not drawing attention was a failure. Then suddenly everyone came and crowded around the order form... what i feard. It's gonna be 'salted vegetable' or you could say it'll get crumpled and maybe torn apart or something. Nothing i could do... what is done is done. In the end i let Mei Yi handle it... i believe she can do it. So, one task off my checklist and now i am free'er. Everyone was busy preparing to head home. As for me... i tried to enjoy what's left of my time at school. Thanks to Geber and Ming Soon for helping me out today.

GA 30th Anniversary

Oh, it was Merdeka Day yesterday... well, celebrated my church's 30th Anniversary at Bangsar Seafood Garden Restaurant at Bangsar of course. Bangsar looks so unfamiliar to me though some places do look familiar.  Well, had a great dinner there. About over 200 people went for the dinner, even some ex-church people and people overseas. Nothing much to say though... took lots of pictures.
Still, it's raining so often these days. It's raining now... though i don't feel the breeze and coolness of the rain... One day holiday today, three days if you count the weekend. So, school day tomorrow... hope all goes well.

Celebrate Merdeka!

Rain, rain, rain... rain for the past few days. No rain today. So close, the sign of rain... dark clouds and lightning evident in the sky above. Even a phenomena after rain was evident, not sure why though.... a rainbow in the midst of the dark sky. Merdeka Day celebration at school today. All went well, fine weather. My prediction was correct... i was certain that at least three quarter of the class would come. Turns out that 33 out or 42 came. My prediction was correct. 3 others who were not in school today were still considered present. That means only 6 people ponteng. That's good... right? Oh yeah, the school drama team managed to get 1st placing at the national level drama competition at Labuan. Congrats! Okay, back to Merdeka Day celebration... we had our choir presentation... then received prize! Yay!!! We won the choir competition... not only that we miraculously manage to get 3rd place in class decorations for Merdeka Day... credits to those involved (applaud). Was it the 313 Malaysia flags that decorated our class? So... let's see... RM100 for choir and RM50 for deco, altogether RM150... i thought it should be RM200? Anywayz... ... ... i... trully disagreeee on the results of the marching competition. I really, really feel that 'x'(if you know then you know lah. Can't badmouth other people here... or can i?) shouldn't win. REally, really don't think so. I feel that even Kadet Polis is better than them. At least 'x' did extremely well then i wouldn't object but they performed not well enough... even other uniform groups did better. The only best but not to say superb thing is their formation, creative, that's all. I totally object. Even some 'x' people in my class think so too. Scouts should win. WE SUPPORT SCOUTS!!! If not first at least second or third. Currently i don't even know scouts' standings. But still... geram! Scouts marched brilliantly, well better and good taking in account that we just found out that we can only have 24 people when we got 34 people and we just only changed the formation YESTERDAY and that they were all juniors and that the formation is truly very fitting with the theme of this years Merdeka celebration, Perpaduan Teras Kejayaan. Scouts did the Twin Towers. Let me tell you about what it symbolizes... first there are two towers... it symbolizes the people separated. Then, a leader, the marching commander, will form the bridge, symbolizing that a leader will bridge the people together and then we'll have unity. See, it so fitting with the theme, right? The  there was the cute little singing part and blowing of whistles.  It's not fair... (sigh) but nothin' can be done. The rest of the day was quite boring... not much studying... doing nothing. Only Chemistry was interesting... then about half or more of the class ponteng and went out of school (according to KS) after or during recess... i couldn't believe it. How did they sneak out of school? Hmm.. guess that's it... dunno what went on in the hall. Hmmm... rain? Are you coming today? There's still hope...

Flags of Malaysia all around

It rains again today. You might not notice it but it did rain. Not sure for how long though, started raining at about 12.30a.m. and when i woke up at around 6.00a.m. it was still raining. Was it? The whole early morning? Woke up to the cold of early morning. Chilling... rain makes everything wet, the air, the ground... makes everything cold. Nevertheless there was no rain in the latter part of the day except for a slight drizzle for a short moment in time. So, we won for the class choir singing competition, so, practice and practice for tomorrow... all should go well then. Hmmm... will it rain? The uniform groups will be marching tomorrow. Such a hassel today, just found out that maximum marchers per team is actually 24 and not 33. So happen we got 34 today for practice and it was not until it was quite late that we found out. Had to decide, continue on and risk disqualification or cut down to 24 and have a chance or slight hope of winning. Formation was the problem. Really a problem when there are too many people wanting to take the lead. But in the end, the true leader will show himself and decide for himself. Finally, a formation that can be done, easily and meaningful at least. Almost couldn't make it. Still, we made it. I was one of those people who volunteered out of the marching team. A sacrifice made for the team... or is it? One problem now... i have been marching on wet muddy ground for the past 3 days. Now my shoe is dirty and filthy, stained by mud and grass.  Since i'm no longer marching i don't need to wear my scout uniform, means i've got to wear my school uniform and i am in the class choir. Supposed to have clean shoes... don't want to bring our class image down. No extra pair of white shoes.... what to do? Did all i can to wash dryly... if that was even possible. Hopefully my efforts are fruitful and it's clean enough to be presentable. Oh yeah, i have faith, i believe that our formation is meaningful enough to maybe get a third place, though it's not as complex as the others. Hmmm... rain has been falling from the heavens these past few days. Tomorrow? Maybe...

Hurray for the choir

Ohhh, sooo cold... yeah, the wet and cold together mean catastrophe.  It rained again today, just like it rained dayz ago. It has benn raining these few dayz. Rain, rain, the cold wind, the cold weather, fickle weather, watery field. Choir singing competition today. Sang Sejahtera Malaysia and Tanggal 31. Looks like it was sufficient enough for us to gain victory. 4A sang Tanggal 31 and Negaraku while 4C sang Keranamu Malaysia. Went back to class right after 4C so didn't see 4J perform. No class first two periods... same goes with the next two... and the next two after recess. Right after recess, we finally found out that we actually won the competition. Hmm... though i might say we are not considered to be extremely, superbly, extravagantly, magnificently good but still better than the others. Guess the others made some mistakes here and there. Still they tried their best and had fun. That's a good thing. Brings people together. ... . Feeling tired, the fatigue. Feeling sleepy, muscle aching. Practiced marching after school today.  Frankly speaking, i don't think (...better not speak out loud) can win. Still, we always do our best and have quite a good tine training, practicing. Gotta stay back tomorrow too (sigh). Tired. Walked back home later in the gloomy weather. So fickle the weather, dark clouds in the skies up above. Almost couldn't make it in time home. About 200m more to go and it started drizzling. As i entered my house, it started to get heavier. The rain, so soothing and relaxing. Really, rain plus cold wind is a bad combination. A cold day, a cold experience. Another cold day tomorrow i presume. Will it rain again?

Rainy, rainy dayz

Rain, it has been raining these past few days... rain comes, rain goes. It comes drizzling and heavily. The moist cold atmosphere. The wet field, more like paddy field. Oh, the rain... such rainy dayz. Hmmm... what's there to say? Nothing to say. What's up? Hmmm... merdeka day celebration. Gonna have the choir competition tomorrow... how will it be? Practiced quite a number of times, enough? Who knows... as for me, speaking frankly, we are definitely above average... can't compare us to professional choirs though. Can't compare us to other classes too. It seems, we have competitors... how tough are they? Who will win? Everything will be decided tomorrow. If all goes well, good for everyone... if we win, good for us, if we loose... so what? Life just goes on like a wheel spinnin' and we move forward... the competition is not like the most important thing in life... there will be the ultimate winners and the 'just' winners. RM150 up for grabs though... Hmmm... the rain, so calm and relaxing. Can you hear the sound of the rain drops? Feel the moist and chilling air? So cold... yeah... cold. Especially early in the morning, as the sun rises and dewdrops form. Rain comes, rain goes. Will it rain tomorrow?

Practice, Merdeka Day

Not much to say, really, the holidays are not as interesting as in school. That's why i have not much to say. Okay, today had class choir practice for Merdeka Day at Joseph's place. Came early but Joseph's not in cause he had to wait for someone... and he left 5 of us stranded outside his house.... dunno what else to say. Let's see... who came... me, Khai Sern, Mew Yin, Alan, Ming Long, Wee Han, Ming Soon, Ying Jin, Shu Ning, Sharon, Mei Ling, Shi Min, Su Qi and Jasmine... i think that's all... hopefully i didn't miss anyone. Oh yeah... not forgetting Joseph... of course he must be there, it's his house... Anywayz, practiced until around 11 something and then people start leaving. Some of us had a meal at Joseph's. Later we went out to McD's! Only a few of us... let's see... me, Joseph, Khai Sern, Ming Long, Ying Jin, Mew Yin, Su Qi and Shu Ning. Got the gold medal meal and a free limited edition olympics cup! It's just a cup though. Hmm... i guess that's all that happened today.

Minggu Pusat Sumber '08

It's here again!!! It's MPS! Last year they did on Egypt and this year it's on Japan! Come and visit the library if you have time.

Everything was quite last minute but at least everything worked out well. Good job i'd say though i haven't went in browsing around yet. No time. Well my part was the opening ceremony that's all. Made the so called 'peach' that pops open and a message rolls out. BANZAI! At least all worked out well. Phew, heart beating so fast when Pn. Ang was about to pull the string. The moment of truth, so tense, will it work. Yes!!! Of course it worked! Didn't use so much of my time staying back in school making it just to see it fall and fail! Finally, my job is done and now all uncertainties are cleared... it's a success. Gotta check out what's inside the library... maybe tomorrow.
Started practice on the choir for merdeka day celebration. So many stuff needed to be done. Finished combining the songs but still gotta find the chords for all the songs. At least they are all not bad... still there is room for improvement. Just hope that everything goes on well.
Gotta save time by writing shorter blog entries :) I see a very busy future ahead of me...

UNSW English Examination

Stayed back today for the University of New South Wales English Examination. Paid RM20 for it so it better be worth it... of course it's worth it. No doubt... though it is extremely difficult with the Malaysian education to score great or excellent marks for this Australian standard exam. Unless you read lots of books, watch lots of movies, often refer to dictionaries, have super strong foundation in basic English, you'll find this paper very tough. As for me, i don't read lots of books, don't watch lots of movies, maybe refer to dictionaries but rarely, and i don't have a good foundation in the English language. Don't know what are pronouns, adverbs, etc. My English is not up to standard. The passages in the paper were extremely hard to understand, not mentioning the length of the passages and the deepness of the hidden meanings of each passage. We were only given 60 minutes to finish 60 questions. So little time, so many questions, got to read the passages and understand it too! There was like 6 questions on cloze passage and 2 on antonyms!!! ANTONYMS!!! I misread the question and though it was synonyms!!! Well, i don't even know the meaning of the word in one of the questions.... There were passages like science facts and blogs and poems. Not enough time to even finish the paper! Left 5 questions. Should have made a last minute sprint to finish by making wild guesses. But i hesitated when teacher asked us to put down our pencils... Alas, what is done is done, nothing else can be done to change what's done.  Try taking next year's one.

SPM Oral BK Quiz '08

Went for the 12th National SPM Oral Bible Knowledge Quiz at Catholic High yesterday. My friend and i took part in the oral quiz. So, woke up very early in the morning, met at the Taman Bahagia LRT station at 6.15 and left for CHS.
Altogether there was 5 teams representing our school... or was it 9? Actually five teams consist of only Taman SEA students while the other 4 were mix, that means other school people join and represent our school instead... that's what i think. But there are some who join and represent other schools. So, the others not taking the oral quiz took the MCQ paper.
Had to study Luke and Acts. Quite last minute studying. I studied Acts while my partner studied Luke. Knew that it's kind of like impossible to win cause the 3rd and final round are individual rounds. Each one of us got to answer questions from Luke and Acts. The first round was objective questions on Luke and Acts. Since i studied Acts, i was blank at Luke, and my partner, the other way round. 50 questions, it's a team effort, in the end we got a total of 74 points for the first round. The second round we get to discuss on the questions. 20 Q's, 10 on Luke, 10 on Acts, got a total of 11 points for the first 10 and 9 points for the second. So it totaled up to 94 points altogether. Not bad for first try. We are after all only Form 4's. Obviously we didn't make it to the third round but one of our team managed to. But still, unfortunately they missed the finals by only 3 point..... well, they tried their best. At least we won the David Bowler trophy for the central region in Selangor. So, Taman SEA has won it 5 times altogether, 3 times in a row sometime last time and currently 2 times in a row last year and this year.
The overall winner was Sri Sempurna (i think it is spelled like that), followed by Sri Sempurna (i think) and the others i'm not sure. FYI, Taman SEA won before, during my sisters time. After that everybody left and there was only a group of Taman SEA students and CHS students. We then helped the CHS people to keep the chairs and tables. Lots of chairs and tables! In the end we eventually finish clearing everything. One group of us were in A&W already so we met up there. The food there is quite expensive though. I spent RM12.10 on a rootbeer, curly fries and a waffle with extra syrup. Couldn't finish the waffle though, i think it was meant for 2. In the end i gave what's left to my friends. Everything over and i reached home at around 4p.m. Then gotta go for practice. So no sleep in the afternoon. After everything was over i was exhausted and i went to sleep at i dunno what time, about 8.30p.m? That a long sleep. Next day, today, gotta wake up early anyway.

Joke #10

Some joke i made up last year...
A man saw another man wiping his hands on a piece of bread. He asked, 'What are you doing?' The man replied, 'Can't you see? I'm buttering the bread. I have butter fingers...' LoL.

Fast!

Lots of stuff after school today. English test, i don't even know how to do the proverbs! Gotta tembak but all wrong.
When in Rome we do it differently
People who live in glass houses live in fear/ see everything (?)
The apple doesn't always tell
We won't miss the water until we cross it
When err is a human emotion
Well, that's my version of answers. Gotta write at least something. Looks like my proverbs are not that good.
After school went to somebody's house to do some CF stuff! BK quiz '08 is coming! Somehow our school was like in-charge of everything. So i went to help out. Quite last minute. Supposed to go back and eat but then... in the end didn't eat lunch at all! That's a first. Skipping meal. BK is coming! I'm not done studying! So much stuff to prepare! That's all, no time to explain details... well, not to say no time... okay, that's all!

Preoccupied

What's with  afternoon sleep? It's like i can't live without it... well, that only applies if i'm at home in the afternoon. Today i made a decision to sleep earlier in the afternoon and wake up cause usually i'll sleep late, around 4... it's not even late... and wake up at 7!!! That's bad, 3 hours. Can't help it though. That's why i tried my best today... set 2 snooze alarm (wanted to set 3 but i believe i would wake up by the 2nd alarm). Sleep time: 3.50. Target time: 4.50. Backup alarm: 5.30. Well, how do you think it went? The alarm rang at 4.50... i woke up and turned on snooze... that means +9 minutes before it rings again. Went on and rang for about 2 or 3 more times. Looks like my original plan backfired... well, that's why i have a backup plan. Finally, the 5.30 alarm rang and i forced myself to get up though still feeling like sleeping and tired (it's called lethargy). At last i got out of bed and then proceeded to do my Mod. Maths work. Well, it worked but still the feeling of sleeping is very strong... so tempting! It's like i'm drawn to the bed...
So very disorganized... wasting my time going online, facebooking, blogging. Eating and sleeping is another thing but a lot of time is wasted everyday. That's why i don't study! Anywayz, studying is harder than it looks. There are some conditions that are necessary to follow before studying or during studying (well, it's how i see it).
1st: study when you have the mood (no mood, nothing will enter your brain. That means time wasted just stressing your brain on stuff you're gonna forget)
2nd: study systematically (don't just study like some geek reading and reading and reading... you know what i mean. It's very stressful, you know, all those words. Be creative, let your imagination go wild, write notes, have fun (if possible). That's my way of studying though it's gonna take lots of ur time)
So much time wasted... that's also the reason why i delay my work... that's why so much work always pile up. Guess it's actually my fault... Homework, paperwork, tests, meetings, activities... lots of stuff aye, not much time. I've gotta change!!! How to change? Be MAD.... are you MAD? That way, i'll have more time and i'll get to finish stuff and then i'll get to enjoy! Gotta make my priorities right. It's all up to me now...
By the way... MAD stand for 'making a difference' :)

Senamrobik!

It's Saturday today... and it's a school day! Came earlier to school cause lots of people ponteng so my bus fetched less people. First time i reach school early and open the class! Attendance today was like all the other Saturdays before. Dunno why my class got a lot of people. 22 people came today.... more than half the class! Today had senamrobik organized by PPD. Lots of primary school students and our school's uniform groups participated. My primary school didn't come but i saw my primary school's headmistress. Had a fun time doing all those moves. Some groovy, cool, indian influenced, malay influenced moves. Did for i dunno how long but they said they were gonna do it for 1 hour. Really fun. It's fun when you enjoy doing it. So what's all these for again? Not quite sure of the purpose of this activity but it was great and most of all fun!
Right after recess... unexpectedly we all, 4A, 4BR, 4C and some other class had to do diagnostic test for Add. Maths!!! 4 papers in a row for 4 chapters!!! So little time, 25 minutes only, didn't manage to finish the 4th module. Kind of interesting cause i get to test my skills and try to finish it as fast as possible. Why so many papers in a row???
So... great Saturday school day today. Okay... about the plant in my previous blog, it's a balsam plant. I found a red coloured flower balsam plant. The flower of the one i had was pink in colour. I took a pod of the red flower balsam plant though i'm not sure whether it is mature enough. And i also saw another different colour... forgot what colour, whitish pink? light pink? or some other colour? Forgot. Now, i will have two colours!!!

To mamak... with jokes!!!

What is the LARGEST moth???

MaaaaaaMOTH!!! Mammoth! Got it? (laugh)

Feelings spoken aloud

You could say, you could feel somebody's feeling. The chilling atmosphere, a bittersweet aurora. As one feels really down, others go the same. Dark cloud overhead... stressed, worried, depressed. How are you? It's like all the world's burden is on you. Such cold, lonely feeling. People come and go... to shut yourself, you feel best to be done. It takes time. Healing occurs in miraculous ways... faith is important. You know it, the whole world worries... yet... you know, we know. For you, o sorrowful spirit... seek the light in the midst of darkness. A helping hand will come to you... are you willing to accept help? You're enclosed in your own realm... time flies... life goes on. Break free... help yourself... as others are willing to help you. You make your choice. Stand firm and hold your grounds. Trust, it's all you need. Have faith, what may not seem may come to be. Seek and you will find... you'll be fine... rest assured there's someone up there watching over you.

Joke #8

This is a joke my tuition teacher told me...
Why is the butter so poor?

Because................. it is not.............KAYA!!! Got it?

A long day

Well, quite a long day at school today. First 2 periods teacher didn't come to class so free periods! Got to finish my homework. BM after History... did some silly essay. Got 11 phrases from some other essay and did my own essay. Khai Sern suggested a love story. He said it'll be funny. Fine, love story it is. It ended up becoming more like a love letter instead. Physics test after recess. Okay lah overall... so far not sure of 3 questions. Thought i was doomed but it turned out okay. No English so another free period. Quite a lot of free periods these few days. Oh yeah, so many people absent and away in class today. So hard to get attendance.
Stayed back today for meeting. Got to use the air-conditioned class room. Meeting quite long also. Discussed about lots of stuff. I can see that i have a very busy future ahead of me. Just hopefully i can cope with it just like i've been coping with it this year. At least i got to finish my homework today... lighten my burden. Gotta do better. Be like me last time. And i still have to cope with my studies at the same time. So far so good but anything could happen. I don't study, just listen in class and do homework. Only go for 2 tuition classes for 3 subjects. Somehow i still cope with my subjects.
All the sports events happening. No rugby yesterday. It seems that my purple house is loosing terribly in volleyball but is trashing the others in netball. All the best to purple house!
Ahh... Saturday school! Though it may be quite interesting and nice to have school on Saturdays (in my opinion)... still... you know... so many people ponteng... teacher asking where is everyone... so hard to get attendance. And the replacement classes are this month, next month and the month after next.
Took a looooong walk back after all the meeting and stuff. Went for rojak lunch at the cendol stall. Today i walked all the way back. Somehow walking all the way back seems better than using the LRT... no idea why though it's more tiring. Stopped at 7 Eleven. Not sure what drink to get. The Coolest Drink on Earth? I'm still collecting chops for a free 12oz. slurpy! Took the 'inner route'. Enjoyed the scenery. Nice surrounding in the neighborhood at Taman Megah.  I decided to enjoy the scenery and look at the plants around. Bougainvillea, hibiscus, lots of peacock trees, bauhenia, something looked like the flame-of-the-forest tree but after checking it, it's not. Really took my time walking back. In my neighborhood i found another type of... oh darn... can't think properly. No wonder, it's late. I'm can loose my mind when i'm sleepy... can't think properly. Forgot the type of plant!!! Maybe i'll mention it in another blog.
Okay, getting late now. So actually what happened 'today' was actually 'yesterday' once i publish this blog. Past midnight now. That's all for now. Wait... i've a joke... please proceed to the next blog entry...

Leisure all day long

Yesterday was great. Not much studies. 1 English period only. Very relax... except for the first part of school. Prefects Installation was boring. That police officer gave more like a lecture than a speech.  Talking about some ponteng stuff, buli and some other gejala sosial. Worst yet, the hall's PA system is terrible, TERRIBLE!!! Couldn't hear a thing! Most people were sleeping during that long lecture, i tried to stay awake. How lucky for the one's who get to skip it.
After that it was back to class where we all got a short rest and before recess. After recess... leisure time! During Civics we got to go out and check out the SPBT garden. Gonna do our Civics project. Discussed on what to do, plants, flowers, fishes, what to put there. Oh yeah, caught a spider in class before recess... don't know what species though. Named it Darren... actually it was Joseph's idea. Wanted to rear it as class pet. In the end my friend let it go at the tree stump near the back gate. There goes, i feel that it like my pencil sharpener box. It didn't want to leave it at first. Okay... back to the garden. Found another spider! A green one. But Ming Soon say not green enough to be an object of doom... cool though. Quite interested in the garden, fishes, it'll be great if we get to take care of it. Just hopefully it doesn't die on our watch. Then it rained. Rained these few days... or maybe drizzled. Talked so much this day... talked about lots of stuff. Interesting stuff... Went back to class, teacher not here so another free period!!! Talked some more, talk lots more! So much time spent talking... couldn't concentrate on my BM tuition work. So decided not to do it. After lots and lots of talking, suddenly we have to leave the class cause another class is using our class. We went to APD room for English. That's all for school today during class periods.
After school.... gotta stay back for meeting. Met with the Form 1's and Form 2's. Elected assistants. That's about it for the meeting. Next meeting on Thursday... which is tomorrow. AJK's only. Stayed back until quite late. After the meeting, went for lunch in the canteen then went back home. Quite late already, reached home 2.45p.m. Changed and immediately went for tuition. I was so sleepy in tuition. After tuition i came back home and went to bed. I only bathed after dinner so it's quite or very late. Such a long day. By the way, my computer has some virus. Infected by my sister's pen drive, infected my pen drive. At least that virus doesn't seem that dangerous.
So much stuff troubling me today. I really should consider my decisions. To take all those so important posts or to reject the posts. (sigh) Missed my bus back home today... the bus was already leaving when i exited the back gate. To chase the bus or not? Decided not to. Stayed back then it rained. Did my homework in the canteen while waiting for the rain to stop and my other friends. It eventually stopped and i went home. At least i managed to finish todays homework.

A rare occasion

Hmm... this is one of the most rarest day. Don't have this often. A free Saturday morning, very rare for me. What can i do? Am i making myself busy? Is that why i rarely have free Saturdays? Actually it's good to keep myself occupied. If not i'll just sit around and rot. When i feel like doing something like my homework, i'll do it. When i start doing it, i'll keep on doing it, keeping the pace and eventually finish quite a lot of my work to my amazement. But most of the time i'm just plain lazy. That's bad. Holidayz.. here i go on debating about free time. I love holidays. At the same time i hate holidays... well used to. I don't usually go out with friends last time so i'm always stranded at home. That was last time. Now, i can go out and enjoy time with my friends. That would take away some boredom. Ah, Christmas is coming again. My favourite time of the year.

Test, test, test?

Test today!!! Bio 'test'!!! Yeah, there 'is' Bio test today... FOOD TEST!!! Lol. Looks like i was mistaken. Was i? I thought teacher said test is today. Anywayz, good thing right? I got you all to study. Then later you don't need to study lor. Lol. People going crazy mixing all the stuff and heating it... okay, that's all for now.

Photos all the way

Itz the 17th today, photography session! The whole class was out of class most of the time. So... no studies! Only first 2 periods... interrupted by spot check! No BM today... 10th period still on... but i'm not in. So, practically that means no study the whole day!
Took 4 photos today. 1 for scouts, 1 for class, 1 for CF, one for PMR top scorers. Such a hassle, gotta change into scout uniform then back into school uniform. Rushed all the way, had to run to class to get my shoes. Lots of photos today... that means lots of poses today. So happen i got to sit in every photo! Cool!
Another meeting if KT's. Name of group still unknown. Today was AGM. Elected the BODs. President, Vice President, Secretary 1 and 2, Treasurer 1 and 2, Head of Section: Furniture, Cleanliness, Buildings, Discipline, Special Tasks. Too bad though, upper 6's and form 5's cannot be elected. Mostly the post held by form 4's and lower 6's. To my amazement i got the Secretary 1 post. Secretary... secretary... always the secretary. Even in CF and scouts there's a big chance... fat chance, i would get the secretary post. So what? Am i a workaholic? I guess it's just me, is it? Wait... should this still be a secret?
After school i was so called 'stranded'. Am i? Later went home, got cendol and slurpy on the way. Got my second chop on my slurpy card! If i get to collect 6 chops, i'll get a free 12oz. slurpy! Sluuurpeee!!!

Late today!

Nothing much interesting today... just that i came late today. Arrived at school today late though at first i didn't know that the bell rang already. My bus broke down. Luckily somewhere near my place. Got a ride from my friend. Got to school late, lost RM1 cause i didn't collect the buku ponteng in time :p

A different point of view

... this past two days of school wasn't that great. No, it's not the homework. Something else that i shouldn't speak of cause... you know lah. So demoralizing seeing that so much have changed. All so different, even myself... really, it's very annoying. Maybe i shouldn't be that good, it seems that everything has gone out of control. It's just too much. Too much. I feel like i want to change back to my old self but... not that good really. After all these years i have changed so much, don't know for good or for worse... still some of my old attributes might be useful now. Should i go on about myself? Maybe not... personal stuff. Don't feel like becoming strict... though it is very useful... there are consequences. Anywayz, it's hard to change though i think of it. Sigh...

Bon Odori '08

Kind of late to wright this, don't you think? Anywayz, last Saturday, i went to Shah Alam for Bon Odori '08. Khai Sern invited me to go. Not quite sure what it was in the first place... but in the end i thought it would be interesting to go check it out. Everything was kind of last minute. Didn't have any transport. Had to tumpang somebody in the end... not quite a great experience cause i don't know them very well. Anywayz, i got a ride there... and also a ride back. Going there, reaching there, the road all seems so familiar. No wonder, i've been on that highway before, follow teacher for SPBT stuff, maths quiz, been to Matsushita before for some sports carnival. When i reached there.. whoa... so many people... i feel awkward... so different. Went in, walked around the track, to the other side where all the food stalls were. Khai Sern still haven't reached yet. Then waited for him... so hard to find people, lots of people. Then met up with Khai Sern under a Carlsberg umbrella...
Seems that i only knew him. Alan in the end didn't come. What to do? Followed Khai Sern do his stuff. Gathering info for... MPS? Took pictures, scout the area... wanted to buy souvenirs but all the stalls were food stalls. At least we got a fan as a souvenir when we came in. Haven't ate dinner yet. Had to eat there... the lines were so long... well, at least for the Japanese food stalls. In the end i got a burger, a few pieces of chicken, a jalapeno sausage, and a drink. Costs RM12 altogether. Then we parted as Khai Sern left to meet his family... all alone now... eating dinner... wasn't planning to find the other group... plan to go solo.
Took lots of pictures. 72 in total... or 71. Walked a lot, stand a lot, sat for a short while... so that means i've been standing and walking for a bout 4 hours or so... still, it's fun. Really, everything is new to me... came here... don't know what it was... now knowing what it was... kind of fun. Lots of dances though i think it's all repeating itself. Three sessions of dances. Everybody joined in to dance... for me... well, i was helping Khai Sern to take photos for the first 2 sessions with my 3.2 mega pixel camera phone.. not as good as a actual camera but it was still after all pictures. About 7 or 8, Khai Sern went home... so early... but still i continued exploring and taking pictures and enjoying myself.
Was taking pictures in the 3rd session... then i wanted to go get a drink... but... i was in the middle of the crowd... well quite close to the stage. There was a circle behind me... people dancing. Tried to make my way through but in the end i was stuck in the middle and everybody else were dancing... so... you should know what happened next. I joined in the dancing and had fun doing so. Got to learn their dances though i may not know what are the names of the dances. Really had a good time dancing.
Ahh... what a great day so far. The 3rd session is gonna start. I decided to join in the fun for it will be the last time to this year. The event is about to end. Joined in the circle and started dancing, following the moves of the people on the stage... following the crowd... alone. Had a great time dancing... really, really great. Then it was all over. The end has come... those people n stage were waving goodbye... the tune Auld Lang Syne playing from the stadiums speakers. Sad that it all had to end. But still, had an extraordinarily great time there. Didn't want to leave yet but... you know...
Okay, in the end, everything was great, had a great time, feel very awkward not knowing anybody, cool dances, great day, lots of pictures (though not that good in quality), kind of stuffed with food, got at least one souvenir (the fan), an unexpected experience. Love it. Looking forward to coming next year. Hopefully i can. Gonna enjoy myself next year too. Feelings that are too profound that even i cannot comprehend.... hahaha... Lol. That's all for now... well at least that's all i can remember. So long and farewell for now!

For the 16th time...

Not bad, all these yearz, now i'll be 16. My 16th birthday is here! That means that i had 15 previous birthdays, lived 16 years, 5,843 days, 140,232 hours, 8,413,920 minutes, and 504,835,200 seconds, that's just approximately if i'm correct. And so happen that... actually i was waiting for today to type this blog entry... it's the 100th blog entry!!! Taken into account the time i'm not 16 yet cause i was born quite late at night.
Spent the first 6 hours of my birthday sleeping... then gotta go to school. My bus didn't come. No idea why. Didn't come yesterday after school too! Walked back, no choice. So, i had to walk to school in the morning today... but... somebody i know so happened to pass me and my brother when we were walking to the LRT station. So, got a lift to school! At school today, there was Chemistry test! Didn't study actually. Used what knowledge i know and have to answer. Soon enough i got the rhythm and then it was quite smooth sailing. A miracle without studying. Then played rugby for PJK. Rugby is kind of fun... for now. Later when tackles are permitted... it's gonna be ugly! Too bad for the one having the ball. Anywayz, rugby really need a lot of teamwork and stamina. Lost all my stamina already... ever since i stopped taekwondo training in Form 3. Overall, i still had quite a fun time. Moral, like teacher for all the knowledge she has. She really knows a lot and makes the lesson quite interesting. Maths... everybody was so noisy today... just because teacher gave us so much free time. Such a short lesson. EST... nothing new... asked teacher something that was bothering me.
Alright, now about some topics i was wondering about in school. Firstly, ever since my balsam plant was attacked by caterpillar, and after i heard that caterpillars become either butterflies or moths, i've been wondering, are they the same? Then i asked teacher about it. She says that a butterfly that lays eggs, the eggs will hatch into a caterpillar and eventually turn into a butterfly. Same goes to the moth. But, 'butterfly' caterpillar and 'moth' caterpillar are almost the same. They are still caterpillars. So, it's hard to tell whether a caterpillar will turn into a butterfly or a moth, except if you're an entomologist. Another question was how did the sea get its saltiness? No idea. Didn't ask teacher. Maybe i'll google it sometime... but the internet is not always reliable. By the way, did you know that the ice at the north and south poles are made up of fresh water? Bla, bla, bla, talked a lot of facts today. Then did you know that birds can see UV rays? Wonder what they are seeing.
After school, walked back, treated myself to slurpy. Reached home, watched DVD. Now gotta sleep or i'll be sleepy in tuition. If i sleep now that means i wasted about 7 hours of my birthday sleeping! Celebrating my birthday in school is not bad. Alas, for my birthday is soon approaching to an end.

'Poof!'... all the work!!!

.... it was supposed to be a great week... or that was what i hoped for... maybe it'll just get better if i wait...
'Poof!' Let's see, i was suddenly 'crushed' by a huge load this week. Such a burden but i have to gladly accept it. Whatever happens i believe the outcome will be good. Always think positively, remember that, be optimistic, those are the words that i use to encourage myself. Smile, be happy, tell some jokes, joke, laugh, that makes me happy. Eat your favorite food, sleep, play, listen to music, that would help me relax. Oh, the work just keep on piling up. Actually it suddenly 'fell' out of nowhere. Let's see... lots of work added to my load in 2 days... or more like just today. Sad. 7 things to do now... still there are 6 tuition works to do that were piling up a long time ago... and my responsibility? Looks like there will be no time to rest and relax for now. Oh yeah... chemistry test tomorrow. Tuition this afternoon. Let's see what work do i have... Eng. Lit. work due 14/7, formal letters for some activity, Mod. Maths work, Add. Maths work, EST work, Civics work, recopy Civics book... FYI i lost my book... all the hard work, copy so nicely and now gone! It'll take quite some time, sooner or later, someway or another, i'll get it done. Hopefully.
Now... gotta be cheerful, let's get
colourfulz!!! Only new newz de day before today... which was yesterday of course was de new forming of Majlis Ketua-ketua Tingkatan. Specially 4 KT's, only 4 KT's. Heard it b4? If you didn't means you didn't read the Buku Peraturan Sekolah. It was mentioned in there. Nobody bothers anyway... now, there's gonna be a meeting this Thurs in de library. Wait... is tis' info classified? Top Secret? Eyes only? Anywayz, it seems dat they want 2 'upgrade' us. Rather not let you in on the details. Wait and see, time will tell! LOL!

Caterpillar attack!

Ah, what a great day today. Kind of relaxing. I think i really rarely get free Saturdays nowadays. Watching TV on a Saturday, going online... and as i was looking outside my house, i saw some long, black, thick, bold lines on my balsam plant and thought, 'What is that?' Then i went out to see what it was. Looking closer i realized that it was not one, not two but three caterpillars!!! Where did it come from, and why the balsam plant! Anywayz, watched it some time, came back later, watched it and watched it. Slowly it was eating the leaves and stem. My plant was being eaten ALIVE!!! Then in the afternoon i went to throw the caterpillars away, one squirted something brown out, dunno what was that. Then i threw it into the drain. When i went outside again later, i saw that th caterpillar was out of the drain! Now what? Attack the mango tree? Didn't want to kill it cause i pity them. Maybe they could turn into butterflies. Or moths? Not sure. It seems you can never tell. Gotta check up on caterpillars. Well, the rest of the day was fine. Nothing much. Went to 1u at night. Met an old ex-schoolmate. Bought something after comparing and thinking hardly. Went browsing around. That about it. Didn't go to librarian installation, though some people asked me to go.Smile

Riddlez #2

Okay, no time now, desperate for sleep or i'll go high or worse.
What is greater than God, eviler than the devil, the rich needs it, the poor have it, and when you eat it, you will DIE!!!
(hint: it's a word not a thing)
For those who know, you know lah, so don't need to bother.

Answer.... nothing... simple as that.
Nothing is greater than God, nothing is eviler than the devil, the rich needs nothing, the poor have nothing (literally), and if you eat nothing, you will DIE!!!

Love Fridays after reccess Part 2

Ah, very tired today, sleepy, stayed back in school whole day. Okay, let's continue. So,... the acid was a little yellowish and greenish. Okay, time to test it, blue litmus paper... (nervous, raised heart beat)... slowly... slowly... entering... entering............... well, just to spice things up.... okay, ignore me, i'm like that when i'm sleepy. Litmus paper entered the solution and... tada... it bleached and became white!!! Cooooool!!! Tested again, white again!!! Soooo cooool!!! Success, success, yes, all was a success except for the oxygen one. Then tried to use the chlorine solution to bleach some cloth. Ouch, ouch.. stinging! Washed hands under running water.... by the way, forgot about one more experiment, to use 0.001M of HCl... blah... anywayz all was successful... smgt... had a lot of fun and i was satisfied at the end. Now i love chemistry experiments. Then the bell rang. helped teacher clean up while mostly everyone else went away. Clean, clean, in the end, clean but not clean enough for me but nevermind... the floor was blue by the way, the copper sulphate. Touched a towel soaked with HCl!!! Felt the stinging sensation again. washed my hands and went off. Got stuff to do. Okay... i've gotta shorten the whole story, very tired and sleepy. Found somebody's manila cardboard outside the lab with Saranya's file, gave Sasvin, kept the cardboard, went to eat, ate too fast, went to settle stuff at CF meeting, attended scouts PLC meeting, went back to CF, settle other stuff, went for reccess cell meeting, ect, ect, went mamak'ing, joke here, joke there, riddle here, riddle there, talk, talk, chit chat, went back home, super tired. Guess those involved in librarian installation tired too. Left school about 4.30p.m., librarians still in the hall doing stuff. Long day ahead tomorrow. (yawn), sleepee. Okay, such a long day. Love this day. TGI Fridays!!! Okay, reminder to all, sleeping is important, your future depends on your dreams so go to sleep!

Love Fridays after recess Part 1

Fridays... always a long day... stay in school all day. Right after recess we leave our class to go to the Bio lab for Bio and Science lab for Chemistry. It always seems that we are balik'ing early. Yay, Bio, quite fun when it comes to experiments. Got to play around with the peanut and cashew nut. Burn, burn, heat, heat, collect, collect.  Burnt so may innocent nuts, all so dirty all over the table,  black burnt carcinogenated nut remains. Collected peanut gas, or cashew nut gas, Nut dioxide! or Nut oxide! Chemistry, it seems that our class is very slow, so, teacher asked us to do three experiments at once. (eyes widening, jaws opening) No matter, very smgt, while teacher was explaining i was already planning to be efficient. Eyes on what we have to take! Then, when teacher asked us to start, haste, haste, i quickly tasked everyone to do something. Quite fun, first did the copper sulphate experiment to get oxygen and copper. Used 8 batteries. Then decided to do the other copper sulphate experiment involving 1 cent coin and 5 cent coin. Gotta sacrifice lor. SMGT all the way. Then teacher said that the batteries might not be that powerful anymore. So, i got an ammeter and some crocodile clips to test the batteries, ended up testing all that was left in the box. Ranked it from powerful, to moderate to... useless.... Then started on our third experiment involving 2M HCl. Corrosive substance. Started electrolysis, collected hydrogen and chlorine gas. Cool, cool, COOL!!! Then it was testing time, the 1 cent coin has changed!!! The 5 cent coin has changed!!! Downgraded!!! So, i lost 4 cents in the process? Then it was the test for hydrogen, very geram with the splinter, don't want to burn!!! Get the Bunsen burner!!! Then... 'pop'... yes, success!!!  Cool!!! Next we tested the oxygen. FYI, it's very hard to collect oxygen. So, anyway, it failed to ignite the glowing wooden splinter. Nooo... it failed!!! Then tested the chlorine gas... ouch, ouch, the acid is burning. Painful especially at the wounds. A stinging sensation. It seems that chlorine gas will dissolve in the acid. So.... okay, fuh, tired, stop for a while, continue in part 2.
