Trip to Tanjung Sepat: Part 2

After lunch, we were off to the fishball factory once again. On the way, we made a detour to a shop that was famous for its pow's. There, we bought some pow's. It was not bad. Quite nice. At the fishball factory, we got to see how fishballs were made. Then, some people bought fishballs. It was obviously cheaper in the factory than in the market.

Later, we went to a beachSmile! YayOpen-mouthed! This is my favourite part of this trip. We all were given one nilon kite each. Then, we assemble it and tie a roll of string onto it and then time to go fly the kite! Arghh....... got many trails end errors trying to fly the kiteDisappointed. First the sticks in the kite keep on coming out. Then I lost one of the sticks. (Foretunately there was an abandoned kite which doesn't seem to be owned by anyone so.......... you should know what I did)Tongue out. Then my kite was somewhat deformed so it kept on spinning. Therefore I had to redo the kite in a new way so that the kite was at least symmetrical so that the wind can blow evenly on the surface of the kite. Later my kite flew into the sea and got wet. The string also was wet. Then it was grounded and all the sand got stuck on it. Finally I got it flying. It was quite high. I was amazed. Though I have tried flying kite once I never got it up and flying before. (Actually, it was because I did it in a playground). Then, my kite got stuck in the trees. Darn. Foretunate for me I got to release it and I made it fly higher! YayOpen-mouthed! Then........ a sad thing happened. As I was too excited, I flew the kite too high. And when the wind blew it down, it flew behind the trees and went missing! The string was stuck on the tree! Noooooooooooo........ Crying I was devastated. There goes my kite. My first achievement in kite flying. Well I didn't know what happened to my kite but my friend said it broke from the string and dropped onto the road behind the trees.

Then we were off to our last destination, the dragon fruit plantation. We went there and was greeted by........???.........ahemm.....a baboon in the cage. Everybody was taking pictures with it. I wonder what was a baboon doing there. Then the guide explained about dragon fruit. Well, this was the first time I see so many dragon fruits up close. Anyway, we saw aeroplanes flying above us. Wow, it was so close to us. I think it was the closest I've seen in the sky. Well, it was actually because there was an airport nearby. Later we bought some dragon fruits and headed off back to school.

Phew! It was around ten long hours. This trip was long. Heading home I got some sleep. Then it was back in school and back home. I was exhausted after a long day's trip. Finally went home feeling all tired and sleepy with all the things I boughtSleepy.
