Hello World

Hello world.

And no, i'm not writing a program. It's been the longest time since i blogged, a very, very long time. But today, i just felt like blogging. It's the year 2016 and the month of December. The final day of the year approaches, it's Christmas Eve and i'm just back from caroling on a very tiring Friday. Welcome, Christmas Eve.

What have i been up to in life you ask? Well, i'm 24 this year, not getting any younger and yes definitely at that age when you're wondering if what you're doing now would be what you'd want to do your entire life. That's life after college, life after university. That's work life and it has been hectic like the autumn leaves of fall being stirred up by spirited kids of yesteryear. Over a year of work it has been and i'd have to say, this is one of my busiest times of all.. ever since the fifth form of high school.

An early day, a day of work, Christmas and caroling practice. With Christmas around the corner, i can't help but agree with the hustle and bustle of life in that song "9 to 5". Seriously, it's been tiring. I just wanna sleeeep! zzz~

Oh, my blogger self begs to say more but my body doesn't agree. Slumber befalls me and not to mention my nagging muscles so i'll end real soon.

So, Merry Christmas Eve! New year is coming so it's that time of the year where you should reflect on what you did this year. Reflect, reflect, reflect and boom, you get a rainbow. Wait.. that's refract. I'm just going crazy now. You know how the night gets to some people.

The wandering traveller

Times so delightful with friends so dear,
Times so blissful with someone so special,
The joyful hands of time run so quickly,
Round and round they merrily go,
Oblivious of what's before them.

Curious little mind, do not wander,
But wander did he and the future it peeked,
What it saw was barren and desolate,
No turning back, the future is etched,

Time so suddenly ages so quickly,
Time slows down to a painful pace,
Slow are the hands but quick is the age,
Time grows old, slowly it crumbles,
Time is broken, it creaks to a stop.

What a regret did the little mind did,
To peek to a future it didn't need to know,
But soon the facade of dreams melt away,
What's left is a reality, all around you,

Miss my uke!

T.T You never know how much something is important to you, until you lose it! THAT’S SOO TRUE! lols~ Finding it hard to study, but now i realise, i always have a musical instrument nearby ie my ukulele or my bro’s guitar to fiddle with when i get bored studying. >.< Not sure if that’s the reason why it’s hard to study, probably it is a small part of it, but it sure is a significant one. Never knew i would miss musical instruments! Haha! I think i oughta make a uke out of the tissue box! XD Gosh, probably be good to find an instrument STAT! Haha~ Wellz, trying to study now! Hope i can do it! =)

Paper cutting!

Well, just quite recently, like the end of last year, i’ve started on a new hobby! =D Which is paper cutting! =D (i feel so un-enthusiastic, lol!) Haha~ Nvm that but yea, paper cutting! Wee~ XD

And so happen my friend’s birthday was coming up! AND I WAS LIKE CLUELESS! Didn’t know about it until i was scrolling through the ‘Events’ page on facebook when i SAW that one of my very good friends birthday WAS A WEEK AWAY! gasp~ And fyi it takes approximately 2 weeks for snail mail to reach Malaysia. So! Onto work i did.

First, inspiration. Neeeed inspiration. Serious concentration glare… done that for quite some time… doodled here and there… no inspiration… doodled some more… too complicated stuff… and then here came the inspiration, and guess where i got it from –> Google. XD Haha~ Saw how paper cutting words were just as awesome as any other complicated paper cutting stuffz. And here’s the result!

So that’s just the so called ‘stencil’ which i’m gonna use to cut out. Now! Onto the cutting part! =D It’s not really that hard really. Just have a reasonably steady hand and lotsa patience. (even i don’t really have a steady hand =P) So cut, cut, cut. And voila! Here comes the product! With bits and pieces of cut out material that looks like jigsaw! XD

I forgot to mention what i was making. =P It’s gonna be a bookmark! Just you wait and see! ;P Right now the cutting part’s about done. Did a lil ‘adjustments’ to the cutting. You know there’ll be some rough edges and ‘deformations’ and stuffz. So yea, tweaked a lil here, tweaked a lil there, cut this, glued that, write a personalised message and tadaaa, final product! =D

=D =D =D Yay! The finished product is just AWESOME! Better than i could imagined. =) Now all’s left is to put it in an envelope and mail it Malaysia! =D Which i did this afternoon. =) Costs A$1.65 to do so but it’s totally worth it. Haha~ However i forgot to take into account what would happen if the letter reaches too early… oh wells~ Meant to be a surprise anyway. =) Handicraft made in Aussie! =D Mailing it from overseas is the fun part. =)

A swift of sorrow

Sorrow fills my heart, 
It comes in a gush,
Like the rushing wind, 
It overwhelms me.

Of things uncertain, 
Loneliness engulfs, 
My heart feels the sting, 
Sorrow fills my heart.

You know that feeling when one thought of sorrow hits you? Then a chain reaction occurs? Yea, that was what i felt last night. So sad and down and emotional. But i’m all goodie right right now. =)

Everything’s frosty and all! (not the weather but me!)

Can’t help but notice the last post i posted was so emoish! XD And it was like at the start of the year! Gosh i totally forgot that i had a blog here and now i’m here in Australia with so many fun stories and experiences which i can blog about… should i? lols~ I doubt anyone’s reading my blog but sometimes i just love blogging about my life and all. XD

So now! I shall… blog about… about… about……… (inspiration sapping away~~~ my blogging days are over! XP) Well, then let’s start of with some laughs! Lemme think… hmm… (brain freeze) XD Can’t think of any! Haha! But it’s really super duper cold yesterday, even right now although the sun’s all so high, bright and mighty up there. Yea, that explains it, BRAIN FREEZE! Everything’s cold! Even the frozen ham i had for breakfast!

Well, today was a total blogging failure. But now i REALISED i HAD a BLOG, i can now think of some stuffz to blog about. HAHA!
